论文题目：《林徽因全集：建筑（3）》（节选）汉英翻译实践报告

摘要：随着全球化发展,文化软实力在国家之间的战略性对话中的作用与日俱增。因此,国家之间的文化交融日渐频繁,每个国家都想借此让本国文化走向世界。本次翻译实践选自《林徽因全集:建筑（3）》的第六章节的内容,主要介绍了大同云冈石窟中反映的中国古代建筑。本报告旨在向目标语读者介绍中国古代建筑,帮助读者更多地了解中国文化。本次翻译实践是在皮特·纽马克的文本类型理论指导下完成的。原文本属于说明文,以信息型文本为主,在翻译过程中,根据纽马克文本类型理论,基于语义翻译方法和交际翻译方法,采用多种翻译技巧。在案例分析部分,作者在纽马克文本类型理论的指导下,就词汇、句法和语篇三个层面,针对翻译过程中遇到的各种问题,综合多种翻译方法和技巧进行剖析,并得以解决。词汇层面,由于古建筑涉及诸多中国文化词汇,而且汉语是动态性语言,主要从文化负载词、数字和动词三方面深入解剖。文化负载词主要采用注释和直译加脚注的翻译方法和技巧;对于具体和泛指的两类数字,作者主要采用传统的直译和意译的翻译方法;动词方面主要通过词性转化的翻译技巧实现更加地道的表达。在句法层面,作者分析了汉语结构松散、句尾重心、主语缺失等特点,从三方面进行剖析,采用直译、重组和合并的翻译方法和技巧。在语篇层面,作者采用增译、照应、替代等实现了目标语篇的衔接与连贯。本次翻译报告共包括五章节,其中,译前、译中、译后以及案例分析部分在整个翻译报告中处于核心地位。通过本次翻译实践报告,作者欲为中国建筑文化走出国门贡献绵薄之力,并通过总结翻译方法和翻译技巧,以期为将来研究中国古代建筑的翻译人员提供借鉴。
