摘要：本翻译项目是一份关于"中国四川省芦山县发展规划的附加分析—河岸的恢复和自然风险及城市风险管理"的英译汉翻译。英文原文约一万三千多字,中文译文约两万多字。译者完成该翻译实践约达半个月之久。译者受成都联众翻译有限公司委托翻译该项目,客户的翻译要求是:译文要准确,能忠实完整地传达原文所有的信息,无漏译;目标文本要保留工程文本的风格。在目的论三个基本原则,即目的原则、连贯原则和忠实原则的指导下,本翻译报告主要分析解决工程英语文本的专业术语、被动语态、长句等重难点的翻译技巧。原文本属于工程英语,这对译者提出了较大的挑战。译者从原文本的文本类型、表达方式和写作风格三个方面对其进行分析,发现原文本具有以下特征:使用专业术语和技术术语;使用被动语态;使用长句,多用"it"作为形式主语的句型;多用一般现在时态。因此,要求译文应准确、简洁和客观。因此,译者要解决两个主要问题,即如何处理工程英语文本中的长句,诸如,被动句、复杂句、用"it"作为形式主语的句子;如何处理语篇的衔接问题。为了解决以上的问题,在目的原则和忠实原则的指导下,通过对原文本的细致分析,译者主要选择采用直译和意译的翻译策略以及其他的一些翻译技巧,例如,顺译法、逆译法和拆译法等翻译方法解决了翻译工程英语文本中被动句、长句和复杂句、用"it"作为形式主语的句型。此外,论文作者还运用目的原则和连贯原则,借助连接词和指称词,处理了语篇的衔接问题。本论文作者希望通过该翻译报告,可以帮助未来的译者应对此类地质工程英译汉翻译,能够在翻译理论的指导下,更好的运用实用的翻译策略和技巧。同时,在涉及到有关工程技术这类专业性以及实用性强的翻译工作时,未来的译者能够做到准确把握词意、句型以及再现原文文体风格。
