论文题目：奈达功能对等理论指导下科技文本英汉翻译实践报告 ——以《前沿科技英语阅读文选—电子通信篇》为例

摘要：随着全球一体化进程的加快,国内外科技交流日益频繁,科技英语的作用日益凸显。近年来,电子通信领域先进技术层出不穷。与此同时,大量英文原版著作和资料的出现,使得科技工作者有了更多的机会接触国外先进技术。但是科技英语文体的特殊性使得这一途径出现了难度:科技英语中公式、数据、专业术语繁多且规范,使用被动语态、复合句、长难句较多。这就要求翻译人员不仅掌握科技领域专业知识,还要学习系统的翻译理论知识,掌握各种翻译技巧,结合科技英语的典型特征,选取最适合翻译文本的翻译策略并熟练地加以运用。因此,本文旨在帮助译者熟悉科技英语的文本特点,提高译者的翻译能力。奈达指出“翻译就是在译语中用最为贴切自然的对等语再现原语的信息,首先是意义,其次是文体”,作者认为这一观点可以用于指导科技英语翻译工作。因为引进国外先进技术翻译译文要尽可能和原文贴近,自然,也要以汉语语言和中国读者为导向,达到引进科学技术和传递科技信息的目的。本文尝试运用奈达的功能对等理论解决科技翻译中遇到的问题。作者从词汇、句法及语篇方面入手,以电子通信类文本为例分析科技英语的文体特点,并且在奈达功能对等理论的指导下选取最适当的翻译策略进行翻译实践,以此验证奈达功能对等理论在电子通信类科技文本英汉翻译中的适用性。
