论文题目：目的论视角下的电气英语翻译

摘要：在当前社会全球化和信息化的大背景下,国际社会在科学技术领域的联系愈加紧密。电气工程及其自动化专业也在国际交流的作用下焕发新的光彩。基于这种情况,亟需大量电气专业的英语翻译复合型人才。培养这样的复合型人才也是大学英语教学大纲的要求。作为科技英语的一个分支,电气英语力求准确严谨,这就要求翻译熟知这门专门英语。但是搜索中国知网,上面很少有在具体翻译理论指导下的电气英语翻译,只有一些关于具体的电气英语翻译方法的文章。德国功能派翻译理论被广泛应用于科技英语翻译,但是却很少被应用于科技英语的分支---电气英语的翻译。本文立足于基于功能目的论下的电气英语翻译,从电气英语教材,相关翻译书籍,国内外期刊杂志和文章中选择相应词汇,语法表达和段落,诸如清华大学出版社出版的《电气工程专业英语实用教程》和约翰.威立出版社出版的《电力电子学与能源转换系统》等,研究目的论下的电气英语翻译并提出相应的翻译策略和翻译方法。本文希望有助于电气专业技术传播并促进中国科技发展。根据弗米尔的理论,翻译者在翻译过程中应该考虑到翻译目的和目标读者的需要,一篇高质量的电气英语翻译文本应符合目的论中的三原则。在赖斯的文本类型理论中,电气英语属于信息型文本,它的主要应用功能是交际功能。目的论适合研究电气英语翻译及其翻译策略和翻译方法。本文简要介绍德国功能翻译派理论,重点讨论弗米尔的目的论,特别是目的论三原则:目的原则,连贯原则和忠诚原则。本文详细介绍了电气英语的特点,并在目的论的指导下总结适宜的翻译策略和翻译方法,例如作为翻译策略的文献型翻译和工具型翻译。作者希望本文推动电气英语翻译具有积极的意义。
