虽然国内大部分指数最少比年初还高出80%，但大部份市场人士因为“十二个月内股市下跌超过20%”这条理由而市场定义为熊市先兆——尤其现时这接近20%的跌幅，都发生在最近的六个星期内。另外，不少经济学家忧虑相对于基本价值而言，股价已升至难以维持的水平。即使巴菲特曾经在八月时看好中石油，最近也已沽出所持的全部11% H股。连亚洲首富李嘉诚，也警告投资者要提防中国泡沫爆破。
但笔者细究之，股市泡沫破裂前常见的迹象仍然欠奉。例如信贷增长明显加快、大量净资金流入，以及估值过高等等。
信贷增长尚算温和
相对于11.5%的本地生产总值增长而言，借贷增长每年18%尚算温和。事实上，发达国家的借贷增长比本地生产总值增长增幅更大，以美国为例，本地生产总值增长为2.6%，借贷增长每年5.1%，为本地生产总值的两倍。相比之下，中国的信贷增长未见异常。
即使中国是全球吸纳最多外国直接投资的市场，在2006年资产净流入达到695亿美元，但往来账户仍有盈余。2006年的盈余为2,499亿美元，这反映我国无需依靠外国资金流入来支持经济增长。
最重要的因素来自于经济增长质素的改善，为公司盈利增长提供有利的宏观环境。2007年上半年上海综合指数的实际每股盈利约为71%，远高于市场所言的13%。此外，中国股份的市盈率偏高，但仍未及以往市场泡沫的最高水平。以纳斯达克指数为例，2000年爆破前的市盈率便高达160倍。
调整有利于市场健康发展
对于升势如此凌厉的市场而言，大幅调整在所难免，但也有利市场健康。笔者的观点仍然保持不变，只要基本因素稳健，就应该把握每次抛售的入市机会。但值得提醒读者的是，中国能够应付美国增长稍微放缓1%至2%，但如果美国房屋市场下跌和信贷紧缩的问题未能软着陆，中国所受的影响将会扩大。
另外一个利好股市的因素来自于美元贬值。但美元现在面对的问题，是经济尚未呈现太大疲态，但市场已相当负面，加上联储局提前减息，世界各地亦相继出现与全球脱钩不谋而合的迹象。货币走势各异，美元极有可能跌得更快。
美元会跌得多快
由于美国的经常帐赤字十分庞大，笔者认为美元的走势是市场力量的自然结果。根据经合组织的研究显示，减低美国经常帐赤字至较为合理的水平，只有三种途径：第一，让美元贬值，第二，增加美国的储蓄率，第三，增加美国的出口。由于第二及第三途径，需要紧缩的货币和财政政策配合，以及增加美国的生产力，而且需时漫长。因此，现时只有让美元下跌，以解决美国庞大的赤字。
如以1987至1990年美国往来账户赤字调整的事件为例，便会发现在美国商业周期扩张的后期，出口的增长一般会超越入口，因而令贸易赤字收窄。发生这情况时，美元的外汇表现便会好转，延误时间约为一年。由此可以估计美元进一步下跌的幅度。
1985年实质美元达118，1986至1987年度的平均往来账户赤字约为3.5%，调整后实质美元下跌31%。但这次的赤字更大，在2005年时最高约为6%，而2002年的实质美元则达110。如果这种关连成立，实质美元会比最高位贬值约53%，亦即现有水平贬值约35%。届时欧元兑美元与英镑兑美元将会分别推至大约1.66和2.78。
这些数字看似不可思议，而大部份分析员也相信如果欧元与英镑增值过多，有损其出口竞争力时，央行将会出手干预。不过，以现在美国的立场，只要美元下跌的速度不会触发通胀或影响资金流入，美元疲弱将不成问题。对于其它国家而言，只要全球经济保持增长，货币增值可抵挡通胀压力，我们相信干预的可能性极微。

用人单位：不通知就是最明确的“通知”北京酒仙桥附近某电子公司人力资源部赵先生告诉记者，人力资源部的通常做法是只通知符合公司招聘条件的人员，对于落选的求职者则不再理睬，

有关专家：用人单位回复 求职信的做法应当提倡。记者就此问题采访了一些专家，他们一致认为，招聘单位没有给求职者回复的做法在法律意义上并不侵权。北京市望达人力资源咨询公司薛延平认为，在真实、合法的前提下，一个单位以正当的方式发布招聘信息只是信息扩散的过程；同样，求职者向许多单位投递自己的求职意向书也是一个信息扩散的过程。获得信息的行为并不意味着与信息发布者在经济或法律上已达成承诺，所以不应承担任何法律责任。
有求职者常抱怨，招聘单位“不说明”或“不明说”的做法让求职者不知道求职失利的真正原因，无法总结经验，获取成功。专家则认为，这是求职者基于个人角度的一种看法，实际上企业没有义务对个人进行求职技巧的辅导，招聘单位只要能正确地将单位的意思不误解地传达给求职者就可以了。这种表达方式的实现是多种多样的，有的是明示，有的是暗示，有的是默示。
