我国环境污染现状令人担忧
据专家估计,中国每年因环境污染造成的损失达到二千八百三十亿元人民币,其中,仅水污染一项,估计一年造成经济损失约五百亿元。
据香港《东方日报》报导,自六十年代至今,中国有环境监测的四百三十二条大小河流中,八成受到不同程度的水体污染,其中大江河经过城镇河段的占二成,支流受污染的占六成,全中国二千八百多个湖泊,凡能接纳城镇污水的,大多出现水体负氧化现象。由于地下水过度开采,京津沪大面积出现土地沉降一点五公尺至二公尺,桂林溶岩区三十米地下水重金属超标十至二十倍。
大气污染造成的经济损失约为二百亿元,由于城市燃煤、工厂排放废气及汽车死气污染,大气中二氧化硫、一氧化碳等有毒悬浮微粒弥漫在城市上空,空气污染导致许多城市肺癌死亡率增至万分之二,全国酸雨覆盖面积已达百分之三十,所有这些损失加起来也等于二百亿元。
而生态环境破坏和自然灾害造成的损失估计高达二千亿元,森林覆盖率由四九年的三成左右,现已下降至不足一成四,草原的严重退化,水土流失面积达一百五十五万平方公里,占国土面积的百分之十六。
同时,城镇建设却仍以每年侵占一百五十万公顷土地的速度发展,破坏自然生态平衡,加上自然灾害带来的损失,每年至少损失二百亿元。
其他污染如固体废物排放、噪音污染等造成的损失也高达一百三十亿元。
专家分析表示,造成环境污染引起的经济损失原因众多,但国家工业规划布局失误,调控措施不力和公民环保意识不强是主要原因。
我的体会;
学习了该教案后,我总结体会两点。
一、该教案在教学设计上非常注重学生能力的培养,充分利用教材和多媒体手段逐步引导学生理解课文,并能进一步升华课文的主题,使学生受到心灵的启迪和道德的震撼。一切都水到渠成。
中外合作办学教学理念的差异
中外合作办学有利于引进国外的优质教育资源, 借鉴国外发达国家有益的教学经验, 使中国学生不出国门就能接受国际先进教育。但是中外教学理念存在的差异对全英教学, 尤其是商务英语全英教学带来了很多启示。
1. 教学活动中心的差异。
在教学活动中, 我们往往是以教师为主体, 学生为客体的传统教育。这样的教学方法使教师和学生之间缺乏平等的交流。虽然这些年“以学生为主体”的教学理念已经逐渐被大多英语教师和学习者所接受, 但长期以来以教师为中心、课堂为中心、书本为中心的“三中心”传统教学模式不可能在短期内彻底改变。中外合作办学所引入的师生交互式教学方法, 也就是老师和学生都是主体。这样的教学方法使教师和学生之间、学生与学生之间能够平等地进行交流。
2. 教育目的的差异。
中国学生从小就接受了“学习教师至上”的观念灌输。家长、父母都要求学生服从教师的学习安排, 这造成学生学习缺乏主体意识, 缺乏主动性。中外合作办学则认为学生应学会提问, 学会质疑。在“怀疑”的态度中, 发掘自己的学习好奇心, 提升自己独立思考和独立解决问题的能力。
3.教育方式的差异。传统的教育方式一般是重成绩、轻过程, 重理论、轻实践的。学生的学习方式和学习策略深受这种教育方式的影响, 被动听课成为大多数学生的主要学习策略。而引进的教育方式则是重实践的, 强调的是学生对教学活动的参与和学习过程的体验, 课程都有综合性和实践性的特点。HND项目在教学过程中, 要求教师引导学生提问, 运用启发式、讨论式教学法, 充分调动学生学习的主动性。
全英商务英语课程设置的认识
商务英语课程最大的特点是英语语言技能与商务专业知识的密切结合, 对此许多习惯传统教学模式的英语业内人士提出质疑:这到底是商务英语还是英语商务?事实上, 商务英语和英语商务都是我国外语教育改革和中外合作办学的产物, 是外语教学与商科教学的交叉。商务英语是英语商务的准备, 英语商务是商务英语教学的发展。
我院虽已开始部分商务英语课程, 但鉴于教学水平的局限, 学生主要学习的还是普通英语的知识, 对所学的商务专业知识认识不足。我校国际教育学院引进的HND项目, 借鉴国外现代教学理念, 把英语专业知识与商科专业知识直接融合起来。可以看出, 商务英语与英语商务教学并不是割裂开的, 是可以相互交融的。英语教师, 尤其是商务英语教师必须要明白, 学生学习英语的主要目的是为了从事某种专业的需要, 未来在各种商务环境中能够熟练使用英语的人才是我们人才培养的目标。其实, 商务专业开设专业英语课程与英语专业开设英语商务课程, 并不矛盾。英语专业开设商务英语和英语商务课程, 可以发挥语言教学的优势, 有利于商务英语教学与英语商务的结合, 循序渐进, 减少语言障碍, 更符合教育教学的规律。现阶段我院可在原有的商务英语课程模块基础上, 考虑引入英语商务课程, 根据社会需求和学生将来的发展方向, 设置不同模块课程 (module) , 如商务管理模块。
中外合作办学理念对商务英语全英教学的启示
1.坚持以学生为中心的教学理念。以学生为中心的教学法促进了教师和学生之间的互动交流, 调动了学生掌握知识的积极能动性和独立思考的能力。以学生为中心的教学法注重教学的实际效果, 而教学方法和手段都紧紧围绕学生学习效果这一中心, 对学生学业水平的评估都是点和面结合, 形成性评价和终结性评价相结合, 能够客观地真实地反映学生的实际情况。
2. 坚持互动创造的教学方法。
教师应充分运用启发或讨论式教学法, 调动学生学习的积极性。将课堂教育延伸到社会实践, 引导和组织学生参与实践活动, 在实践中锻炼和提高学生的实际应用能力。商务英语全英教学不同于用中文讲授的商科课程教学, 它要求教师不仅能用准确的英语讲解商务知识, 并帮助学生通过英语在实践中应用所学商务理论。教师在课堂上不是给学生翻译英文句子, 而是学生在与教师互动交流活动中, 在教师设计的实践活动中, 以专业内容为基础, 透彻地学习商务知识与技能。
3. 坚持注重学生能力的培养。
课堂教学的重点是引导、讲解和讨论, 改变过去学生做笔记来追循教师思路的方法。在教学内容上, 重视理论联系实践, 尽可能地与现实结合, 把课堂教学与经典案例评价分析有机地结合起来, 提高学生综合应用能力和解决实际问题的能力。课后教师可通过“请进来, 走出去”的办法培养学生的能力, 如聘请商界人士定期举办讲座;加强与企业的联系, 多让学生走出去做调查;以英语为工具撰写报告或做口头讲演, 在实际运用过程中提高英语技能。
摘要:中外合作办学已经成为我国教育国际合作与交流的重要形式之一。许多高校都开设了商务英语课程, 以期培养出复合型应用型人才。本文根据比较中外合作办学过程中体现出来的教学理念差异, 提出从商务英语课程设置和全英教学模式两方面提高商务英语教学的质量。
