一、导论

（一）激发学生学习英语

（二）提高英语成绩
学生在学习英语中，最头疼的就是听力，听力得分不高，也成了学生成绩不高的拦路虎。那么，英文电影中流畅地道的对白，是学生练习听力与模仿发音的最佳模范。观看电影的同时，学生会注意到影片中动听的经典歌曲。如果学生兴趣浓厚，学生可能会去下载该片音乐，课后反复播送，甚至传唱。如此一来，学生的英文水平自然就更进一步。从电影对白，电影原声中，既学到了听力，又学到了口语，这两种能力的加强，对于学生学习语法也是很有帮助的。通过对电影对白和电影原声的模仿，学生融入到英语的学习中，渐渐形成语感，考试的时候自然不用愁。
(三)了解西方文化
从英文电影中了解与中国文化迥异的文化特征，在学习语言的过程中自然而然地从英语立场出发感受其文化。只有先理解对方的文化，然后才会站在该角色的立场来感受其文化。电影反映的是一个国家和民族的社会文化和生活。电影涵盖生活的方方面面，反映了社会生活的各个环节。不同的电影都体现了不同时期文化的细微差异。从影片中，学生可以了解到国外文化的整体发展趋势，把握文化的差异，真真正正地理解并且自然地运用到英语中。
三、结论
电影以它完整的故事情节和优美动听的主题音乐能给大家带来美的享受，通过欣赏英文电影，激发学生学习英语的兴趣，从而提高学生英语学习成绩，乃至学生了解英语文化。这种英文电影对英文教学的辅助教学法不仅帮助学生更好地理解原声，而且能够促使学生参与学习活动，由被动学习英语转变为主动学习，与电影人物，与同学，与老师互动，学到地地道道的英语。因此，用英文电影安排教学活动是一种可以尝试的“愉快教学”的新模式。英语教学应该与时俱进，合理地与现代教育技术结合，用英文电影辅助英语教学，可以提高学生的英语学习兴趣，摆脱枯燥单调的学习模式，为语言学习开拓一条生动有趣的学习途径，这需要我们每一位教育教学工作者的积极探索。

关于英文书面通知的格式与写法
书面通知又称通告与布告。它是上级对下级，组织对成员部署工作，传达事情，召开会议所使用的一种文体。通告一般张贴在布告牌上，或公共场所显眼的地方。通告正文上方的正中位置写上NOTICE（每个字母用大写），出通知的单位写在正文结束后的右下角，或者写在NOTICE的正上方。出通知的日期一般写在左下角。单位和日期两项也可以省略。通告不写称呼，也没有结束语，但在正文里，往往首先提到被通知的对象。

2．由学习部为各班配备评委1名，作为监督和指导，其它评委自行安排，评委总数至少3人；
3.活动总结

（二）院系初赛
1.环节一：主办方指定辩题，参赛选手抽签确定正、反方。参赛语言一律为英文；
2.环节二：每位选手上台陈述自己的观点（限时2分钟），评委根据选手表现即兴提问(作为选手评分依据)，最终选出16名选手参加院系决赛。
3.初赛时间： 5月22日晚 6:30（暂定）初赛地点：B203教室
（三）院系决赛
1.环节一：辩论前依次播放各组DV。

附1.2011年大学生英文辩论赛决赛流程与规则
1、赛场主席宣布比赛开始，介绍评委、参赛队员和比赛规则。参赛队按一辩→四辩进行自我介绍。由正方开始，限时1分钟。
2、陈词阶段（共6分钟）。各方观点陈述，时间各3分钟。由一辩一次性完成，按正→反顺序进行。时间用完，发言即终止。
3、一对一攻辩阶段（共8分钟）。由正方二辩选择反方二辩或三辩进行一对一攻辩，再由反方二辩选择正方二辩或三辩进行一对一攻辩，正方三辩选择反方二辩或三辩，反方三辩选择正方二辩或三辩。每阶段限时2分钟，若时间未用完可继续。
4、自由辩论（共14分钟）。双方展开自由辩论，由正方发起，正反方轮流发言。每位辩手在此期间至少发言一次，每次发言次数、时间及每方四位辩手的发言次序均无限制。每方发言时间各7分钟。
5、总结陈词阶段（共8分钟）。双方四辩进行总结陈词，时间各4分钟,由反方先开始。发言时间用尽时，辩手须立即终止发言。
6、赛场主席宣布比赛辩论阶段结束，评委对比赛结果进行合议裁决。
