首先,请考生测试一下自己的听音设备:FM 72.55 或者 74.15?

点名册:

1.请在“出席”和“缺考”的方框内打钩。开考十五分钟后仍不出现的考生视为缺考。此时,需要您用铅笔,在他的答题卡上缺考标记处涂一下(涂黑那个小方框)

2.请在每张表下方签字,然后再工整书写您的名字。

勘误表:

1.询问考生“准考证”上的姓名拼写是否正确? 居民身份证的号码准确无误吗?

我们只对以上两种错误信息进行更正。

前几天查了成绩,A ,确实有些意外,因为本来预计只能拿个B。总成绩是A,但是各个分项的成绩还不知道。觉得有必要将自己的一些亲身经历以及体会告诉大家,最起码可以让大家对BEC有更进一步的认识。若有什么不对的地方,也欢迎各位已经考了和准备考BEC的朋友不吝赐教。一些基本的资料可以去www.CambridgeESOL.org/BEC查阅,这篇文章主要是谈谈我自己的一些体会。

1、我的背景

学校:广州华南农业大学(非英语专业)

CET 4:87

CET 6:74.5

TOEIC:970

我是考完CET 6 之后才考BEC 2。8月参加BEC2培训班,月3日在暨南大学参加考试。

2、BEC有用吗?

绝对有用!BEC与四六级完全不一样,应用性很强。考完之后的确让我的英语水平上了一个台阶,尤其是写作和口语。个人觉得BEC考试比较全面,综合。而且对于求职也非常有帮助,例如口语部分,在以后求职面试时也可以用到一些。

3、应该报哪个级别?

BEC有三个级别,到底应该报考哪一个呢?

首先,排除BEC 1,完全没有意义。

个人认为,只要你通过了CET 4 就可以直接考BEC 2;如果你可以完全凌驾CET 6,可以冲刺BEC 3。根据新东方老师所说,BEC 2 跟 BEC 3 的难度相差不大,只是BEC 3 多了财务方面的内容,对于没有这方面知识背景的同学可能会比较困难。不过你如果不想冒险而时间也允许的话可以先考BEC 2。新东方的一个阅读老师考BEC 3 也只是拿B。

4、关于BEC与TOEIC

我想很多朋友都想知道到底BEC与TOEIC有什么不同,我就自己的认识来谈谈吧。

开发BEC的是英国Cambridge ESOL(最著名的产品是雅思),而开发TOEIC的是美国ETS(最著名的产品是托福)。因此,很多人认为英联邦国家的企业可能会承认BEC,而美国的企业可能更看重TOEIC。实际上是不是这样,我也不太清楚。不过在我的求职经历中,这两者都是有用的,通常都会被承认。

至于难度方面,我记得老师曾说TOEIC比BEC低了至少两个级别,此话不假。BEC是全方位的考试,口语,听力,阅读,写作;而TOEIC只考听力和阅读,而且全是选择题。根据我的感受,TOEIC跟BEC根本就不是同一个级别的。我12月3日考完BEC,12月11日就去考了托业。之前我对TOEIC根本没有任何了解,中间相隔的一个星期内,我也只是做了四套TOEIC的模拟题。考试的时候也很放松,最后得到970分(满分990)。不过也的确有点意外。

5、关于复习BEC 2 的一些体会

口语

一定要找对partner。最好是英语水平跟你差不多,而且住的比较近,这样才可以经常练习。经常跟partner练习是非常重要的。那时我跟partner非常默契,例如在口语第二部分(mini-presentation),在提问之前,我们就已经知道对方要问什么问题了。配合在口语第三部分(discussion)尤其重要。一定要经常练习。

除了与partner一起练习之外,单练也是一定要的。练习口语方法很多了,有些人说复述法比较好。我练口语就是一个字--背。我把新东方的口语资料全部背得滚瓜烂熟。那时候我每天中午拿着资料在走廊上狂背,每天两个小时,背的时候一定要读出声。也就是短短一个月,所有口语资料都背完了。后来竟然走火入魔,一天不背就觉得难受,实在找不到东西背了,我就选了一些写作的范文来背。考完BEC,还是一天不背就难受,于是就把新概念第三册拿来背,背了二十篇之后,现在没有动力背了,我想是因为没有了考试的压力,所以也就没有了动力吧。

根据我的经验,刚开始时背得比较辛苦,生词比较多,背的内容也很杂乱无章。但是背多了之后就可以融会贯通了。到后来,随便一个话题,我都可以blablabla说个三分钟,虽然内容不一定很严谨,但至少都有话可以说。

BEC的写作与四六级完全不一样,BEC的.作文应用性非常强,是工作中真实场景的再现。 所以开始时会觉得无从下手。我的主要方法就是模仿。看到一个题目,先自己写一篇,然后看范文,看看有什么不同并想清楚为什么要这样写,然后,模仿范文的结构再写一篇。写多了之后就会形成一定的套路了。

至于写作模版,也可以背一些,不要害怕文章会跟别人雷同。BEC作文与四六级雅思那些不一样。BEC作文要求的是精确(包括用词,意思,语气等)而不是个性。所以考生的文章雷同是意料之中的。

阅读

BEC阅读的题型很特别。配对题和填句题刚开始时会不适应,觉得有点难,但练习多了之后基本上可以全对。千万别被填句题吓倒了,刚开始时的确很困难,但是可以运用很多技巧,不过还是建议放到最后来做。注意做阅读各部分的顺序,最好是4(15道题)→5(12道题)→1(7道题)→3(6道题)→2(5道题)。这是新东方阅读老师提议的,是按各部分题目数量的多少递减排列的。新东方那本阅读题上的16套题,我前面错很多,但是越到后面错误越少,到10套以后,基本上错3个以内,有两套全对。
