此处信息定位处的句子较长:Big “C” creativity refers to genius level thinking that results in artistic masterpieces and scientific breakthroughs. Small “c” creativity refers to everyday level thinking that can be used in any situation. 要做到的是把握住信息关键词:genius level → artistic masterpieces and scientific breakthroughs; everyday level → used in any situation. 首先可以肯定的是C和D均为错误选项,原文定位到“use language in a new way is creative.” 然后根据关键词确定B为正确选项,因为我们“familiar”的东西基本都是与日常相关的。

对话填空是高考所有题型中最为简单的一项。题目设置的目的在于考查考生的语言交际能力。建议在此项上有所不足的同学平时多读一下听力材料的原文,这对于提高日常交际能力非常有利。

2、书面表达

写作部分的书面表达向来被看作高考改革的风向标。但从2006年江苏卷的题目来看,虽然内容新颖,谈论的话题有关2008奥运会的志愿者,但考查的方式与2005年相似,属于“描述+评述”型文章。需要先描述题目所列的要点,然后给出个人观点。

2005年与2006年高考试题的书面表达部分比较:

从上面的表格中,我们可以清晰地看出,2005年与2006年试题要求基本上是一致的。惟一出现变化的部分就是突出英语表达的个性化,以此来深层次检验考生的表述能力,这基本上是高考写作部分最高的要求。但个性化并不是随心所欲地发挥,切记:高考是非常严格的“标准化”考试。我们必须把握住考试的整体性质,才能在此基础上发挥个性。而把握“标准”的最佳途径就是研究高考范文,看范文是如何进行观点表述的。譬如,这套试卷中写作题目的最后一部分:

范文用了三个复合句就将个人观点表达得清楚、完整。句法简单,但形式上保持了高度一致。因此,平时训练这部分时,尽量用“三句话”清晰地表述出自己的观点。不一定要用单一的句子结构,但尽可能保持形式上的一致,并且要条理清晰。这样,才能真正达到在内容上个性化,在形式上标准化的要求。

由于高考出题者一直非常青睐“要点描写+观点评述”这种测试方式,这里我们再讲一下具体的应对策略。观点评述部分和上面所讲内容基本一致,重点放在要点描述部分。“要点描述”简单来讲就是:允许考生发挥的、简单的“汉译英”翻译。首先要将要点表达成意,然后将所言之意放到适当的句子中,最后遵循一定的逻辑顺序形成段落。我们先看一下范文是怎样表达的:

Firstly, they should be polite and friendly to the athletes and visitors from all over the world, and avoid improper behaviour. Secondly, they should stick to their posts, offering good services, satisfying any reasonable needs and being ready to help those in difficulty, and never fail to do their duty. Thirdly, they should introduce the Chinese culture and history to visitors so that they may know China better.

从上文看,2006年与2005年的范文均是以firstly, secondly, thirdly/finally这些时间顺序词展开段落的。从句法来看,范文综合了分词结构、从句结构等复杂句型。在内容上,涵盖了所有需要表述的要点。但2006年的试题相对于2005年,增加了新的考试要求:不要简单的翻译。通过对比范文与题干,我们不难发现,范文均对每个要点的第一部分进行了发挥,譬如:对什么样的人礼貌友好(who),怎样坚守岗位(how)以及为什么介绍中国的历史和文化(why)。通过这个总结我们就找到了一个非常好的应对策略:运用when、 where、why、who、 which 以及how对要点进行扩写。所以目前常见的高考作文可以看作是“汉译英的扩写”模式。

除了很好地掌握以上写作技巧和写作模式外,考生要加大自己对常用句型和高级词汇的积累。毕竟作文考查的还是考生的语言功底。对一些经典的句型考生应做到烂熟于胸。对于一些能增加文章亮点的高级词汇,像范文中的“reasonable”, 也应能熟练掌握并灵活运用。这样才能对高考的书面表达部分应对自如。

新教材注入更多的词汇和信息, 学生在辨清词形、词义用法与读音上受到了一定的阻碍, 使他们产生了迷茫、畏惧情绪, 从而失去了学习英语的兴趣, 为了帮助学生更容易的记背单词, 改变课堂上枯燥无味、死记硬背的现状, 把学生按小组划分, 规定他们在4-5分内强记单词, 再进行小组比赛, 在这期间学生充分发挥眼、耳、手、嘴、心等器官的效能, 认真专注的记忆单词, 课堂气氛变得紧张而活跃, 学生显示出了前所未有的积极性。还未到规定时间, 学生们已争前恐后的举手示意, 表示做好参赛准备。每组一次指派一名同学, 按要求写出3-4个单词, 整个小组把需记的单词全部默写完, 其余同学则在下面完成听写, 使得平时发言较少的学生也跃跃欲试, 可以展现自己能力, 比赛完成后, 进行对错打分, 再评出优胜组, 颁发小奖品以资鼓励, 这样既增强了学生记忆单词的兴趣, 又有利于学生更好的掌握单词记忆的技巧和方法, 从而提高了学生英语学习效率和质量, 大部分学生对于听写单词不仅克服了厌烦、畏缩的心理, 反而更加具备了学习英语的动力与热情, 学生只有寻找到了学习英语自信心和努力的途径, 才能真正的提高个人的英语水平。

二、集体组句法

在英语教学过程中, 经常会涉及到一些词组、语法知识点的使用, 单纯的解析会十分的乏味, 学生会产生一种厌烦心理, 便难以理解和接受。为了让学生掌握这些词组的习惯用法, 达到理想的教学效果, 把学生按性别分成两组, 在规定时间内进行组句比赛, 采取自由举手, 积极的组出不同富有新意的句子, 完成活动后, 让学生自己评出优胜组和优秀者, 这样既调动了课堂气氛, 又锻炼了学生的反应能力和英语造句能力。

三、短文朗读竞技法

为了增强新教材的动态性, 加入一些具有时代感的内容板块和最新题材的短文, 如书信、旅游知识、就业指导等, 出现较多的生词、读起来不顺畅, 因此很多同学不愿意朗读、练习, 并对这类短文产生厌烦情绪, 为了提高他们的短文阅读能力, 应从听力入手, 在逐渐熟练的基础上锻炼他们的朗读能力, 让他们学会何时停顿、加重语调、重读以及一些朗读技巧等, 经过几分钟的练习, 可以在课堂中开展短文朗读比赛, 要做到重质不重量。这样的比赛能有效的提高学生朗读水平, 同时也增强了他们英文语感, 而丰富的语感在英语听力或口语测验中都占有重要的位置。

四、问答接龙法

新教材强调语言的实践性和交际性, 重视教学活动中学生的“互动”环节的设立, 以提高学生的交际能力, 而问答式比赛能有效的帮助学生熟练运用、快速理解英语, 在用英语进行情境交流过程中巩固到语法和单词, 同时这种方式也受到学生的欢迎。例如A组学员向B组学员提出问题, 由B组回答后, 再对A组进行反问, 并且不能与之前的问题重复, 要做到出题新颖, 选手题题轮换, 这让每一个学生都有机会参与问答比赛, 平时那些比较腼腆、被动的学生为了团队获胜而努力发挥自己的能力, 学生的问题内容可以与他们实际生活相关, 例如家庭、天气、爱好、看法等, 随着比赛问题的层出不穷, 课堂氛围也越来越活跃, 直至比赛时间结束, 还有很多学生的问题没有问完。问答比赛给予优胜组一定的表扬和奖励, 有利于提高学生开展下一次比赛的积极性。

五、对话表演法

让学生课后自主的准备好第二堂课的对话表演, 根据每组不同的情境要求, 组员各自设定对话话题, 可以对课本的内容进行翻新或创编, 培养学生不断创新的学习意识, 在下一课堂上就会呈现出一个独具特色的英语聚会, 有英语科代表担任主持人, 每一个对话表演都是学生所学知识的汇集, 课堂气氛变得妙趣横生, 学生全身心的投入到英语对话情境, 教师也会被学生的创造力和热情所感染, 从而为做好教育工作付出更多的努力, 对话表演结束后每组将评选出最优秀的导演和演员, 并让他们分享构思和自己的看法。

六、英语演讲法

每堂课前让学生进行主题演讲, 同样将学生分成若干个小组, 演讲内容可以是自我介绍、家庭成员或朋友的日常情况, 也可以是自己所见所闻、节日安排, 更可以是对教材内容的延伸和补充, 例如新教材的第五单元内容是帮助Old Henry的短文, 学生针对这个主题写一篇关于短文结果的叙写, 根据自己设计的需要配上插图, 在下一堂课上让学生演说出自己的续写部分, 虽然表达的是同一个主题, 每个学生都发挥自己的想象力和创造思维, 设计出不同内容的结果, 演讲完毕后学生们仍然意犹未尽, 此时可以增添一个环节, 让学生对演讲的内容提出自己的问题, 再让演讲者解答, 这样能充分的锻炼学生的听力和口语能力, 又能让英语课堂更加充满趣味, 从而提高学生的学习成果。

七、写作评比法

新教材重视学生写作能力的培养, 因此增加了写作方面的内容, 让学生学会翻译、改写、看图写作、情境拟题等, 英语的写作不仅测验了学生日常语法、词汇量、词组搭配的基础, 更是对学生英语知识应用能力的一种考核, 要求学生具有较高的人文素养和组词造句的技巧。新教材编订的高起点要求学生培养英语写作兴趣, 每周上交一篇作文并要配上插图, 将筛选出的优秀作文在课堂上讲析给大家共同学习, 并能在班级墙上设立一个学习园地, 专门用来粘贴这些作品, 这样能有效的激发学生英语写作的潜力, 英语成绩也自然能得到提高。教育心理学课本中有一句话指出, 教师对学生的教学态度直接影响了学生的学习成绩, 当教师与学生朋友式相处时, 学生学习兴趣较高并富有创造精神。教师要明白比赛中学生出现错误是正常现象, 应对他们进行积极引导, 并鼓励他们意识到自己的不足, 培养他们参加写作比赛的自信心。

【关键词】高考英语 阅读理解 课堂讲授新模式

高考英语试题中,阅读理解是经典必考题型。如何通过课堂讲授提高学生阅读速度及答题准确率,一直是教师关注的问题,但这种应试导向存在弊端并可能带给学生诸多学习障碍,因此,如何在课堂上即保证应试效果,又锻炼学生听、说、读、写等语言综合运用能力,是广大教师应该重视和探讨的话题。

一、阅读理解的重要性

阅读理解在高考试题中占很大比重,调整前分值为40分,加上完型填空30分,共计70分,占总分的近一半。2014年调整后,阅读理解(包括七选五)40分和英语知识运用(完形填空和语篇填空)45分,分值达到85分,而且其他笔试试题原本也建立在阅读基础之上,其重要性可想而知。

二、阅读理解试题的课堂讲授新模式

如何在阅读理解试题的课堂讲授中,避免单纯地应试教育,为学生语言综合运用能力的提升打造平台、提供推力,以下是经过多年课堂实践,初步构建起来的新模式:

1.读——限时阅读,提升速度和准确率。阅读理解需要提高的不外乎阅读速度和答题准确率,在课堂讲授中,不能忽视其试题考察的本源,否则将难以满足学生基本需求。因此,在讲解过程中,首先要求学生限时阅读,在规定时间内完成作答,并有意识地培养学生运用恰当的阅读技巧解题,从而提高学生的阅读能力和应试技能。

2.写——找出语法点,撰写summary。大多数教师只注重阅读技能训练,讲解试题之后就完成任务,但阅读理解的文章大都经过认真筛选,语言地道,精彩的语法点更应予以讲解。以“Decision-thinking is not unlike poker----it often matters not only what you think, but also what others think you think and what you think they think you think. (NMET 2000) ”这句为例,用词简单但很拗口,仅28个词却包含主语从句,宾语从句和破折号连接的附加说明等多种关系,并列句复合句互相包含,这样看来,只有把句子成分理清,才能掌握其意。

要求学生写出该篇阅读理解的summary是最后步骤,高考英语中写作正包含summary这一题型,因此该任务也严格按照考纲要求,让学生用约30字概括约200词,并提醒其运用以下方法:(1)主动句与被动句的转换;(2) 保留关键词,用同义词替换非关键词;(3)分词结构及名词短语代替从句,从而使概括更加简练;(4)运用连词或副词使句子更加紧凑等。

完成summary后,通过多种形式及时纠误,尤其是常见的主谓一致、人称混用等错误,从而达到读写结合,辅助提高学生写作能力的目的。

3.说——复述文章,锻炼口头表达能力。找出语法点并讲解之后,立即要求学生用自己的话复述文章,训练其逻辑思维和口头表达能力。在文章复述过程中,学生既要使用所学词句语法等,又要运用同义替代、反义否定、句型转换等对语言材料进行加工改造。有了这一过程,学生不仅可以将所学知识融会贯通,更可以锻炼其口语组织和表达能力。

4.听——被动接受,辅助听力训练。通过课堂上学生的复述,其他同学自然成为听众,复述结束后提问其他同学,令其对刚刚的复述内容进行品评,从而激发学生兴趣,保证此环节学生的参与度和注意力,辅助学生听力技能的训练。

三、结论

阅读理解是一种考试题型,但其考察的本就是学生语言综合运用能力,而不是单纯的应试,教师课堂过于强调其应试导向,会进入误区,造成学生语言学习障碍,使其产生逆反心理,厌学厌考,反而背离了题目设置的初衷。因此,英语阅读理解试题课堂讲授应该采取上述教学新模式,在提高阅读速度和答题准确率的基础上,通过找语法点、复述、撰写summary等教学方法组合,科学选取精讲试题,合理把控时间,从而使学生通过阅读理解试题的课堂讲授,达到听、说、读、写等语言综合运用能力的发展与提升。
