德国:假期没作业
德国中小学生的暑假, 不仅各州放假时间不同, 而且同一个州每年的放假时间也有差异。德国16 个州会相互协调, 一定不会出现同时放假的情况, 理由是“错峰”放假可避免人们扎堆出行, 预防道路和景点人满之患。以柏林为例, 柏林的中小学一般7 月中到8 月底, 会放大约为期6周的暑假。
对学生来说, 假期当然是多多益善。他们可以整天无所事事, 睡懒觉, 玩游戏, 尽情放松, 不用去想那些让人心烦意乱的习题。一般来说, 老师都不会布置假期作业, 因为休息的时间就是用来休息的, 尤其是在低年级。不过, 高考前一到两年, 一些老师会建议学生假期里最好复习一下某方面知识。
高年级学生放假期间基本不用父母操心。他们可以玩游戏、逛街、学车、踢球、约朋友一起烧烤, 自由支配自己的时间。低年级学生则通常需要家长陪伴。父母带他们一起出外旅行、参观博物馆、游览动物园、到森林散步……问题是, 有工作的父母一般每年只有4 周到6 周假期, 无法在小孩放暑假期间时刻陪伴左右。这时, 家长只得将孩子交给祖父母或者邻居照看。此外, 一些高校、协会和企业会举办一些假期活动, 组织孩子参观植物园、农场等。
美国:寓教于乐, 活动为主
美国中小学暑假一般从6月中旬开始, 到8 月底结束, 大约10 周左右。虽然暑假较长, 但暑期生活丰富多彩。中小学生活动各种各样, 充满了趣味性、娱乐性和知识性。美国中小学生的暑假生活以休息娱乐为主, 各项活动都是寓教于乐的。
到了夏天, 很多美国家长会鼓励孩子参加暑期学校或去野营。这既是为了家长白天工作时能有地方“寄托”孩子, 也是为了拓宽孩子的兴趣或专长。一般来说, 孩子可以自己提出计划, 家长都会尊重他们的想法。暑期学校的课程既有数学、语文、阅读等补习课, 也有手工、美食、科学自然、体育运动等兴趣课。参加暑期学校, 补习文化不是主要目的, 主要还是为了培养和增强孩子的学习兴趣。暑期学校只开半天课, 通常只是上午授课;因此, 家长要安排好孩子们下午的活动。参加公立暑期学校的学习不但是自愿的, 通常也是免费的。
对于美国高年级的高中生来说, 假期里有的学校会组织学生“参观大学”。而平时, 美国中学也会向高中生提供暑假期间里的各种信息, 比如参加各种竞赛的信息, 做义工的信息等, 大家根据各自的兴趣自行联系。美国的高中生一般都要做义工, 这是考大学简历中的一项内容, 也是好的学校在录取学生时要考虑的一项重要指标。
澳大利亚:夏令营是首选
位于南半球的澳大利亚, 中小学放暑假的时间正好与中国相反。澳大利亚中小学一般将全年分为4个学期, 每个学期10周。相应的, 学校假期也有4个。从圣诞节前到次年1 月底的暑假将全年最重要的节日——圣诞节包含在内, 还包含有元旦、澳大利亚日 (国庆日) 等节日, 长达7 周左右, 是最长的假期。此外, 其他3 个假期都只有2周。
对于父母双方都有全职工作的家庭来说, 暑假如何安排孩子们的生活是个问题。根据澳大利亚法律, 家长不能把12岁以下儿童单独留在家中, 所以, 小学生们的暑假安排尤其让家长们费心思。澳大利亚的中小学很少给学生们布置假期作业, 学校也很少出面在假期组织活动。很多父母会在孩子放假时休年假, 带孩子一起去旅行。不过, 遇到暑假这样长的假期, 父母的假期无法完全覆盖, 剩下的时间仍要有其他安排。
凡有需要, 自然会有供应。在澳大利亚, 学校暑假期间的各类夏令营、培训班数量不少。在每个学期结束前, 家长都会在孩子的书包里发现一本小册子, 以及其他广告宣传单, 列出假期期间的培训项目。这些项目有提高数学等学科成绩的, 也有国际象棋、舞蹈、演讲和表演等技能的, 但最多的还是体育方面的。澳大利亚重视体育, 所以夏令营也以运动项目主题的居多, 足球、网球、橄榄球、冲浪等, 一应俱全。

同样位于南半球的阿根廷, 每年圣诞节之后, 伴随着全国大中小学暑期假日的开始, 整个社会都进入了夏季假日。政府部门、公司企业、社会组织都会安排员工的轮休计划, 主要是方便他们陪伴孩子度过一段美好的家庭时光。此时, 阿根廷南部海滨马德普拉塔、巴塔哥尼亚地区的避暑胜地, 以及巴西、乌拉圭热门的度假海滩, 满是度假的阿根廷人。如何度过假日, 往往折射着一个民族的生活态度。对于热爱生活的阿根廷人来说, 假日是“神圣”的, 没有什么比和家人一起享受休闲时光更重要的了。学校自然也顺应了这种社会风气, 所以, 孩子们的硬性课业负担相对较少, 即便有, 也多是建议式的阅读书单。社会上更没什么补习班。当然, 这与阿根廷升学压力小不无关系。
当然, 并非所有家庭都有充足的时间安排暑期度假计划, 也有相当一部分有孩子的父母因为工作或其他原因“滞留”在首都布宜诺斯艾利斯。即便如此, 首都各大体育俱乐部也为孩子们提供了丰富的暑期夏令营, 短则一周, 长则一个月, 多是对孩子进行某种体育项目的培训, 或者仅仅提供一个让同龄孩子们一起玩耍的机会。

有人说,西安是吃货的首选。别说,这句话说得还真不假。去年暑假和老妈来西安时,她第一次带我去回坊吃东西,离着老远我就看鼓楼上方有滚滚白烟,我当时着急地和妈妈说:“快看,那边着火了。”老妈顺着我手指的方向看了一眼,淡定地说:“噢,别大惊小怪的,那就是一会儿要去的回坊,到了你就了解情况了。”原来,那里是羊肉串一条街啊!在西安最大的好处就是,吃货们想怎么吃,就怎么吃,爱吃什么,就吃什么。

我最喜欢的一篇是《无所畏惧的王子》。王子帮助了女仆,受了一夜的折磨,终于把女仆从魔鬼的城堡里救了出来,后来,他们欢欢喜喜地举行了婚礼,过上了幸福的生活。我学到了只有勇敢、自信、坚强,才可以获得胜利。为了实现目标,要毫不畏惧地去拼搏。即使前方困难重重,但也要坚持不懈。

我最喜欢《草房子》里的小主人公桑桑,因为在他的身上,能看到现在的小孩子身上看不到的单纯、善良、可爱和顽皮、以及有爱心。在桑桑升初中之前,他病了,病得很重,桑乔不相信这个残酷的事实:不久后桑桑将会离他远去。于是,他们四处奔波,去了好多大医院,讨遍了偏方,几乎问遍了所有人,却毫无办法。当我看到这里是,我的心一次次的揪紧,一次次的为他紧张、难过,可他没有放弃!终于,在经历了一次又一次的绝望,一次又一次的空欢喜后,桑桑的病终于好啦!我真是打心眼里高兴!同时,我还很佩服桑桑的毅力!他没有被病魔所吓倒,他顽强的与病魔斗争。
