Well I am going to talk about a good suggestion that one of my leaders told me when I worked as an intern teacher in the last summer holiday. Back then I just got back home from school and I got an internship in a language training school. I was supposed to teach children aged from 5 to 10 some easy English lessons and I needed to report their studying feedbacks to their parents. I also advised him to manage any part time job in local library or to talk to our teacher about his condition.
After few days, he told me that he had given some serious thought about it and won’t quit the college. I felt overwhelmed and happy to hear that. He talked to our course teachers and one of the teachers arranged him a part time job. He was happy and he finally finished his graduation from one of the prestigious universities of our country. Now he is working in a respectable government office and he is still grateful to me for the advice I gave him. I felt very well when I found him continuing his study and in fact he was a bright student. I still feel very glad to be able to give him an advice that proved to be very helpful for him.

Ok then, well the tourist attraction that I’d like to talk to you about is West Lake, which is here in Hangzhou. And I apologize if you’ve already heard a lot of other candidates talk about it, but out of all the tourist attractions I know, West Lake is the one I’m most familiar with, and I really do think it lives up to its reputation as being one of the most beautiful lakes in China.
But anyway, as for where it is, well as I mentioned just now, it’s here in Hangzhou, but to be more specific, it’s actually right in the heart of the city, so um… yeah, it’s very accessible, and also very easy to find. For example, it’s only, like, a five-minute taxi ride from the train station, and you can also get the subway there.
And um… regarding what you can do there, well, a good way to take in all the scenery is to just wander around the lake. And there are also quite a few teahouses dotted around the lake, some more expensive than others, I might add, so if you do go to one, it’s a good idea to take a quick look at the prices before you sit down and make yourself comfortable, otherwise you might be in for a bit of a shock!
What else? Um..…. Oh yeah, of course, you can go on a boat on the lake, and if it’s your first time there, then it’s something you should definitely do, because I’d say it’s probably the best way to experience the beauty of the lake and its surroundings.
So yeah, it’s a really interesting place to visit, and if you haven’t been there yet, you should definitely go if you ever have the chance!

雅思口语考试7大错误观点要不得
错误观点1：考官的问题有正确答案
考官点评：在对考试的所有误解中， 这种观点是最普遍的，也是最有害的。数学题有正确答案和错误答案。在对话中，你可能会犯语法错误或发错音，但就内容而言，是没有对错的!有些回答可能会有点长，或有点诙谐，或有点创意……
错误观点2：要多用生僻词回答问题
考官点评：这一观点存在的问题是，如果你突然用到一个很生僻罕见的词，或一个非常复杂的句子，它们与你的回答相符吗，还是显得很突兀?那个单词或句子运用得合适吗?如果不合适，就会出现连贯性的问题。
错误观点3：外表有魅力就能得高分
考官点评：这种策略肯定会适得其反。男性考官和女性考官都不会欣然接受这种企图明显的操纵，因为考官讨厌这种试图操纵结果的企图。同样，如果考生在考试开始时说“我只想说，你今天真是太漂亮/太帅了”之类的话，这纯粹是在浪费口舌，只会给自己惹麻烦。
错误观点4：这只是一个语言测试
考官点评：事实上，雅思考试不仅仅是语言测试。考试中假设的文化场景也是对你的应对能力的考查。所有的语言都根植于它们背后的文化环境，所以语言交流的本质也就是文化的交流。要想在雅思考试中取得成功，考生就必须“遨游”在英语国家的文化中。

错误观点6：像老外一样讲话
考官点评：考生没有必要像老外一样讲话。当你在使用第二语言时，很多因素会影响你的表达——文化背景、所受教育、母语的语音系统等。因此你完全没有必要非要像外国人一样讲话。
错误观点7：要多用优美的句子
考官点评：如果你在考试时引用了一个优美的句子，而这句话与考生在此之前和之后说的话完全不符。无论在词汇还是风格方面，这句话都显得格格不入。考官会认为，这些“优美的短语”都是考生死记硬背的，而且会在连贯性方面给考生打低分。
雅思口语--切莫把考官视为机器
1 、口语考试的成绩与你的真实水平是正相关的，但不是成“正比”的。也就是说，在你毫无准备的情况下，它能够准确地测出你属于哪一个档次的。但是，一旦经过充分的准备，那么你的成绩将会被人为的放大，而这完全取决于两个人在现场的主观博弈——你和考官。
2 、“要把考官当人看”，而不是“机器”(虽然你心里是这么想的)。口语考试考察的是考生的“沟通”能力,而非单纯的“口语”能力。
所以,如果你在考试开始前没有礼貌地和考官打招呼，没有尊重地问问考官的名字，说话的时候表情冷漠，没有笑容，目光呆滞，总是保持一个声调，使人感到乏味，离开考场时忘了对考官说“再见”，总之就是没有给予考官对正常人应有的礼貌和尊重时，你是休想得高分的。
3 、“多算胜，少算不胜”。我们不能打无把握之仗，而要在考试前积极备战，从而使雅思口语考试的科学性在你的成绩上体现的微乎其微。因为口语考试采用的是题库制，所以所有的题目都能从网上找到“机经”。你完全可以做到有的放矢的备考。
雅思口语中such as 的用法
such as 是雅思考试中一个大家很熟悉的词组，但是很多备考雅思的同学经常做的事情是记词汇替换譬如说like, for example, for instance, a case in point等等，却很少真正将such as这个词用准。
雅思替换讲解1 在句中出现，而不是句首，这个和for example区分很大
例：Many students are interested in some non-academic courses. For example, they like music and sports.
例：Many students are interested in some non-academic courses such as music and sports.
雅思替换讲解2 后面加名词或者动名词，不能加句子或者是动词
例：Children should be given more time to pursue some hobbies such as they play sport and learn music. (应该改成playing sport and learning music，动名词才可以)
雅思替换讲解3 such as 后一般不加逗号，直接加名词
雅思替换讲解4 一般加两个或者以上的名词或者是动名词;如果只加一个名词，一般前面不用加逗号;如果加好几个名词，往往such as前要加逗号
例：Countries such as New Zealand have a long record of welcoming refugees from all over the world.
雅思替换讲解5 一般紧跟在所解释的名词后，不能够中间用其他词或者内容隔开
例：Students are interested in several subjects in this course such as child abuse and malnutrition. (例子是解释subjects，不能放在in this course 后面)

雅思替换讲解6 such as 后面的名词必须是前面名词的解释，具备类似的性质

In my opinion this is a very interesting historic place as it is almost two thousand years’ old and it was discovered in the middle of the last century. Now the place has been renovated to reflect the city it once been. A museum was built as recently as 10 years ago for the visitors to learn more about this lost city and people. I have read a lot about this civilization and cultures of these people and visiting this place was a really good experience. The museum was very rich in terms of learning history. The city was more than 2 thousand years old and yet it has many amazing art works, tools, intricate designs, buildings with amazing work, finest canon and many more proofs of their advancement. They had been a flourishing civilization that dominated that part of the country. The idea of our civilization being found by future generation was an interesting idea and this historic place just reminded me that. The museum, the fine airmanship and advancement of that civilization are all amazing historic proof and interesting to explore.
