第二个传说讲的是在元朝，朱元璋领导的起义军计划起义来摆脱蒙古族的统治。
他们用月饼来传递密信。掰开月饼就可以找到里面的密信，起义军通过这种方式成功的发动了起义，赶走了元朝的统治者。
这场起义发生在八月十五之时，于是中秋节吃月饼的习俗便在民间传开来。
科技英语频繁使用被动语态, 除了语言结构上的原因之外, 还有语义价值。总是把事物的名称作为主语放在突出的位置上, 用被动语态表述有关的动作或状态, 突出表述客观事实, 结构简练。
汉语中习惯多用主动语态, 大量使用无主句、形式主动意义被动的句子以及判断句等。虽然由于文化的交流, 受西方语言的影响, 被动语态的使用比过去有所增加, 但仍很有限。英译汉时, 有一些仍需要保持被动语态, 而在很多情况下决不能总是恪守原句的语态, 必须摆脱这种局限性, 译成主动语态句。这样才能使译文既在内容上忠实于原文, 又在语言形式上通顺自然, 符合汉语表达方式。笔者根据教学实践, 列举出以下几种翻译技巧以供参考。
1 将英语的被动语态译成汉语中的“被”字句
“挨”字句, “给”字句, 或“叫、让、由、受、遭到、受到、予、予以、加、加以、引以、为……所、经……所”等字句, 用以加强说话、表达语气, 这样既保留原文的主语, 又要使译文主要成分的顺序和原文大体一致。
所谓“被”字句, 就是在汉语的动词前面加上一个“被”字来表示被动的句子。主要表示这个动作不利于受事者或这个情况有点特殊, 或者出乎意料。加上“被”字以引起读者的注意。一般情况下, 动作执行者 (施事者) 不出现, 译文按“动作接受者+被+动词”的顺序排列。表示“被”这一动作是动作接受者 (受事者) 不乐意或不情愿接受的。
I was possessed by the very novelty of what I did.
【译文】我被自己所干的事的新鲜劲迷住了。
“挨”字句仅用于翻译该动作是对动作接受者 (受事者) 不利或不好的句子。
The boy was criticized yesterday.
【译文】这孩子昨天挨了一顿批评。
“给”字句也是用于翻译该动作对动作接受者 (受事者) 不愉快或不愿接受的句子。
Our clothes were soaked with sweat.
【译文】我们的衣服给汗水湿透了。
It must be dealt with at the appropriate time with appropriate means.
【译文】这件事必须在适当的时候用适当的手段予以处理。
2 把英语的被动语态译成汉语的主动句
其形式是主动, 但从意义和逻辑关系上看还是被动句, 或者通过改变原文的谓语动词, 使其成为汉语的主动形式。
Illness must be correctly diagnosed before they can be treated with medicine.
【译文】疾病必须先确诊, 再用药。
Bad thing can be turned into good things.
【译文】坏事也可以转变成为好事。
如果把英语的被动句译成汉语的被动句, 则不符合汉语的语言习惯, 所以常可将英语的被动句顺译成汉语的主动句, 原文的谓语动词是被动形式, 可转变谓语, 顺译成汉语的主动形式。
The teacher was satisfied with the answer.
【译文】老师对回答感到满意。
The long river is originated from that high mountain.
【译文】这条大河发源于那座山。
英语句子要着重表示的不是受事者受到了某个行动这样一个事实本身, 而是与这个行动有关的一些具体情况, 如时间、地点、方式、方法等。也就是说, 句子里强调的是行动的静态而不是动态的含义。这样就可以顺译成汉语的“是……的”的句式。其框架为“受事者—是—动词—的”。用这种译法来表现原文陈述的意义, 显得简便灵活。

【译文】这个怪念头是他哥哥想出来的。
Many basins were formed by the subsidence of the earth's crust.
【译文】许多盆地都是由于地壳陷落而形成的。
3 将英语被动句的主语译成汉语中的宾语
可将原文by后的宾语或者其它介词的宾语译成汉语的主语。
We are brought freedom and happiness by socialism.
【译文】社会主义给我们带来了自由和幸福。
The same signs and symbols of mathematics are used throughout the world.
【译文】全世界都使用同样的数学记号和符号。
对于原文中未提及动作执行者 (施事者) 的句子可以译成汉语的无主句, 有时也会译成动宾词组作主语的句子, 这种译法更符合汉语习惯, 通顺自然。对于原文中未提及动作执行者 (施事者) 的句子常可采取这种翻译方法。
Children should be taught to speak the truth.
【译文】应该教育儿童讲真话。
Quality of products must be guaranteed first.
【译文】首先要确保产品的质量。
4 当英语原文中采取“It+be+V.-ed+that-cl.”结构和“S+be+v.-ed+to-v.”结构的时候
可以翻译成“有人, 人们, 大家, 我们”等作主语的汉语句子或者“据……”这种句型。
During the enquiry, it was discovered that her death had not been an accident.
【译文】在调查中, 人们发现她并非死于意外事故。
He was found at his book in the reading room.
【译文】有人看见他在阅览室看书。
The novel is said to be translated into English
【译文】那部小说据说即将译成英语。
英汉两种语言都有被动语态, 有时可将英语被动句翻译成汉语的被动句, 但多数情况下, 并不保留被动结构, 而译成主动结构。由于英汉两种语言在使用被动结构方面的差异, 有时虽然汉译成主动句, 但仍带有被动意义。例如:
As oil is found deep in the ground its presence cannot be determined by a study of the surface.Consequently, a geologica survey of the underground rock structure must be carried out.I it is thought that the rocks in a certain area contain oil, a"drilling rig"is assembled.The most obvious part of a drilling rig is called"a derrick".

译文:因为石油深埋地下, 所以单靠研究地面还不能确定有无石油储量。因此, 必须对地下岩层结构进行地质勘测。如果认为某地域岩层含有石油, 那就在该处安装“钻机”。钻机中最显眼的部件叫做“井架”。续:井架用来升吊分节油管, 把油管放入由钻头打出的孔隙中。当孔隙钻成后, 放入钢管以防止孔壁坍塌。如发现石油, 需在油管顶部紧固加盖, 使石油通过系列阀门流出。
这段英语中有六句话, 共有十四个谓语动词, 竟有十三个用了被动语态, 而汉语译文中无一句是正规被动句, 不管怎么说, 被动结构在汉语中的活动空间不像英语中那么广泛, 没有太多的文章可作, 所以, 翻译时可根据具体情况, 选择最好的方法, 用最合适的结构, 用最优美的文字, 提高译文的可读性和可接受性。

一、翻译教学的现状
1.课程设置。非英语专业的英语翻译一般是作为大学英语基础阶段学习完成后的后续课程设置的，很多高校对它的重视程度并不高。就笔者所带课程而言，一学期只有18个学时的理论课时，另外18个课时为实践课时。通过一学期的学习，很难完成翻译基本理论和英汉互译技巧的教学。所以比较好的做法是：分两个学期来分别设置英译汉和汉译英课程，教师围绕不同的翻译技巧进行讲解，辅以学生实践，夯实学生英汉互译的能力。
2.教材选用。不少学生甚至教师对于翻译存在误解，认为只要有一本字典再加上对语法知识的掌握就可以完成翻译任务。实际上，翻译是一门艺术，涉及到很多的翻译技巧。同时它又是一门科学，有自身固定的模式。为提高非英语专业学生的翻译水平，我们必须有符合时代潮流的翻译教科书，并以其为基本素材，进行翻译理论和翻译技巧的教授。然而，非英语专业学生目前很难从普遍使用的翻译教科书中找到完整系统的翻译理论和技巧的介绍，日常练习的材料也不过是数个英汉、汉英段落和句子的翻译，其主要目的巩固文字词汇、句子结构和语法结构的语言知识。如此以往，学生只是记住了一些词汇或是掌握了一些语法规则，并没有学到相关的理论知识和系统的翻译技巧，而缺少理论指导的翻译往往是偶然之得，只有在理论的指导下学习翻译才可以收到事半功倍的效果。
3.教师能力。师资力量对于翻译教学也非常重要，教师需要有完备的翻译理论知识和进行大量的翻译实践，而大多数院校外语系教师专业为外国语言学及应用语言学或是英语语言文学，翻译专业较少。他们在研究生学习阶段虽然也学习相关的翻译理论，但是没有构建完整的理论知识体系，也缺乏大量的翻译实践活动。此外，很多教师授课模式单一，拘泥于传统的课堂流程，即讲解有关翻译技巧、布置学生作业、再给出参考译文。这种以教师为中心，以标准答案为终极目标的课堂模式容易使学生产生厌烦心理，影响学习效果。
4.学生水平。由于学校面向全国招生，而各地的英语教学水平和学生学习英语的年限都有所不同，所以学生入学时的英语水平就参差不齐，在课堂上的参与程度也有所差别。相当一部分学生词汇方面存在很大问题，诸如，词汇积累不够，语言功底欠缺，形近词混淆不清，无法根据具体语境选择多义词的词义。另外，句子结构方面也存在严重问题，很多同学不会分析句子成分，不能准确定位主谓结构，混淆织带，主动被动相混，语态颠倒。由于受母语影响，学生还经常使用一些中国式的英语句子，或者由于母语文化越来越不受到重视，很多同学中文素养较差，虽然心里明白，但却不能做到用准确的汉语描述出来。翻译作风不严谨的问题也很突出，学生习作中随意增词或漏词现象比比皆是。
二、非专业英语翻译课程教学对策
1.合理安排课时。翻译能力不仅是英语的一项基本技能，更是英语综合能力的反映。目前，四六级测试中学生在翻译题的得分普遍偏低，而大学英语教学大纲重点关注了听、说、读、写四项基本能力的培养，但是忽视了第五项基本能力“译”的培养，这都表明对非英语专业翻译教学重要性的认识不足。翻译对学生英语综合素质的要求较高，比客观题更能从整体上反映学生的英语综合水平。因此，要想提高学生的实际翻译能力，非英语专业的学生在完成大学英语基础阶段的学习后，必须从大三开始选修翻译课，将翻译必修课看成大学英语教学的必然延伸。课时可安排为两学期，一学期36学时为宜，分别系统地学习英译汉及汉译英理论与技巧。
2.合理选用大学英语翻译教材。教师可参考不同的翻译教材，结合个人搜集的资料进行授课，教学内容不仅要涵盖最基本的翻译理论和翻译技巧，及配套翻译练习材料，同时还要考虑到学生毕业后工作的实际需要，增加实用文体的翻译。在选材时，根据学生不同专业，选择适合的内容进行学习。例如，针对医学专业的同学可从国外医学网站或医学杂志上挑选一些常见病症说明的文章供他们练习，而汉语言文学专业的同学可挑选一些文学作品进行翻译。这些素材贴合学生专业，更易激发他们的学习动力和兴趣。
3.提高教师素养，改进翻译教学方法。教师应该不断地在教学过程中学习，完善自己的翻译理论知识，强化翻译实践，真正做到“教学相长”。教师还要钻研教学方法，提高教学水平。翻译具有很强的实践性，因此改进以往陈旧的教学模式十分必要。课堂应强调 “以学生为中心”，注重对学生学习过程的研究。以讲评翻译练习为例，可以提前把材料发给学生，然后要求学生以小组为单位进行讨论，上课时派学生代表发言。这样的教学方法，可以开阔学生思路，培养他们主动学习、自己发现问题并解决问题的能力，还能活跃课堂气氛，提高教学效果。
4.提高学生素养。翻译要做好，学生必须有广博的知识。教师应鼓励学生扩大视野，多读英语报刊杂志，增加他们的语言输入及文化敏感性。因为翻译不仅仅是两种语言的转换，更是两种文化的转换。美国著名的翻译理论家尤金·奈达在《语言、文化与翻译》一文中曾指出“语言在文化中的作用和文化对词义和语义的影响如此普遍以至于不仔细考虑文化背景的话，任何文本都很难充分理解。”因此，在教学中要重视文化知识培养，引导学生了解中西文化及思维差异。
三、结语
First of all, doing everything needs determination. Determination is a prerequisite to do something. When facing difficulty, the people who have determination will insist, on contrary, the people who don’t have determinatin are easily give up. Thus, if people wants to do something well, the first thing they need to do is to make up their mind. Secondly, reading English materials is a great help for learning English. It can help people raise sense for English language, have interest and confidence in Engilsh. That will help people a lot in the process of learning. Last, patience is necessary in English learning. Most people will feel difficult to learn English at the beginning. The people without patience will often upset towards learning English. As a result, it will increase the difficulties of learning English and vice versa.
In general, determination, reading English materials and patience are the effective ways to learn English. If people recognize those, they will learn it well sooner or later.

Mid-autumn day Mid-autumn day is a special festival in China, which is one of the traditional Chinese festivals. Itfalls on the 15th day of august lunar month every year.
