匈牙利作曲家、民族音乐理论家、音乐教育家柯达伊·左尔坦指出:“借助手势是对孩子们进行歌唱练习的极好方法。”也是其音乐教学法的一个主要教学手段。确实, 由于音符的不同, 所用的柯尔文手势也就不同, 不同的手势再辅以不同的空间位置, 使抽象的音高关系变得直观、形象、视觉化, 学生可以通过观察手势来感觉音程关系, 产生对音符唱名与相对音高的联想, 从而掌握唱名表示音高的能力。

小学二年级的学生好模仿, 可塑性强, 是培养良好歌唱习惯、塑造美好声音、发展歌唱能力的奠基阶段, 因此, 笔者将柯尔文手势引入二年级的歌唱教学中, 通过补充、改编、拓展等方式将教材内容进行再加工、再创造, 使之成为笔者和学生间进行音高、音准、呼吸、声音等歌唱训练和交流的一个重要手段。

一、利用柯尔文手势练唱各种音程, 帮助学生建立唱名音程感

唱名音程感, 是指唱名与唱名之间音高关系的感觉, 它是识谱能力的基础。教学中, 当学生学习了“do~la”六个音符的唱名、音高、柯尔文手势和位置之后, 就可以在手势的引领下视唱“do~la”的各种音程了, 在不断地练唱中让学生逐步建立唱名音程感。

二年级的学生活泼好动, 如果只是纯粹地进行音程的练唱, 他们就会感到乏味, 没有兴趣。因此, 教学中笔者引入音乐游戏, 结合柯尔文手势, 让学生在表现一定形象、一定意境的视唱活动中唤起好奇心与联想, 在寓教于乐中训练唱名音程感和纯正准确的音调。

1.“音乐学号”游戏

例如, 小班化教学中, 学生的座位刚好是六小组加六横排。笔者就利用竖排“do、re、mi、fa、sol、la”和横排“do、re、mi、fa、sol、la”合在一起给每个学生设立一个音乐学号。比如第一小组六个小朋友的音乐学号分别是“do-do”“do-re”“domi”“do-fa”“do-sol”“do-la”……以此类推。学生对自己的音乐学号很感兴趣, 于是就可以开展“点名”和“自我介绍”的游戏活动:老师在琴上弹两个音, 同时边做柯尔文手势边唱, 如“4 2│”, 就请“fare”小朋友即第四小组第二个孩子起来介绍自己“42│4 2│”, 然后请全班小朋友呼唤他 (她) “4 2 4 2│4 2│”, 要求孩子们也边唱边做柯尔文手势。每节课介绍六个小朋友, 直到全班同学介绍完之后, 再做“小组牵手游戏活动”。加入手势的游戏活动更有乐趣, 孩子们练唱了一到六度的各种大、小、纯音程, 在不断的唱名模唱中慢慢获得了唱名音程感。

2.“跳阶梯”游戏

可以设计很多“跳阶梯”的音阶视唱曲, 游戏还可以加入力度变化, 如渐强、渐弱以及强弱对比的歌唱等。边做手势边歌唱又有变化的游戏活动可以使学生产生浓厚兴趣, 在反复练唱“do”到“la”的各种音程中巩固了唱名音程感。

二、借助柯尔文手势练习二部合唱, 引领学生走进多声音乐

合唱教学随着我国新课程改革的不断深入和发展也被越来越重视。《义务教育音乐课程标准 (2011年版) 》指出:“要更加重视并着力加强合唱教学, 使学生感受多声部音乐的丰富表现力, 尽早积累与他人合作演唱的经验, 培养集体意识及协调、合作能力。”因此, 教师要从低年级起就有意识地引导学生走进多声音乐。

用柯尔文手势引导学生进行二声部合唱是一种很好的多声音乐的教学手段。教师用两只手的手势表示不同声部的音高唱名, 学生可以在视觉的帮助下进行二声部视唱, 在边歌唱边相互倾听中调整音高, 在不断调整音高中体会准确、平衡、和谐的音准, 培养内心听觉能力、音准把握能力和二声部合唱能力。

1. 利用手势, 练习长音

当学生通过柯尔文手势学习了“sol、mi、do”三个单音之后, 就可以尝试由“sol、mi”两个音组成的二声部长音练习了。有研究表明, 小三度是儿童最自然也是最易于唱准的音程, 因此, 对于二声部的合唱练习, 笔者从“sol”到“mi”的下行小三度开始。如:1=C

首先将学生分成两大组, 一组是“sol”小朋友, 一组是“mi”小朋友, 再用钢琴给出两个音的音高, 老师的一只手用柯尔文手势引导“sol”小朋友歌唱, 保持“sol”音的准确与稳定后, 另一只手的手势引导“mi”小朋友进入唱“mi”音, 然后两组小朋友互换“角色”合唱。练习中不用乐器, 让学生在不断地互相倾听和相互配合中取得均衡, 经过反复地练唱和调整, 长音能平稳延续了, 气息比较连贯了, 也慢慢加强了音准把握能力和用和谐的声音歌唱的能力。

2. 借助手势, 丰富音程

当学生的二声部长音唱得比较稳定了, 就可以在长音中间加入五声音列中的部分音级进行练唱, 每次不超过三个音。在手势的引领下, 学生不仅练习了和声音程和旋律音程, 还感受了音程丰富的色彩, 锻炼了多声的听觉能力和视唱能力。

第三阶段是在“sol、mi”的基础上加入“la”音的练习。要求与方法同“sol、mi、do”, 但在练唱这三个音时要注意最后结束的长音停留应避免出现如与这样的音程保持, 因为大二度是不协和音程, 这种音响长时间的延长会使孩子们受到不和谐音响的干扰而不利于音准的练习。当然, 中间的音级变化可以出现这种大二度音程的歌唱练习, 如, 因为短时间的停留不会影响孩子们的演唱, 而且还利于加强孩子们对二度音程那种不和谐感的适应能力。

第四阶段是在“sol、mi”的基础上加入“re”音的练习。要求与方法同“sol、mi、la”三个音的练唱。

以上每种练习中的音级变化有很多, 教师可以不断变换柯尔文手势带领学生歌唱, 每个练习又可以变换声部连续反复, 使每个学生都能够得到全面的训练。手势的不断变化带来的二声部合唱内容的不同, 这使学生兴趣盎然, 乐此不疲, 在由浅入深、循序渐进的练习中发展了学生二声部的歌唱能力, 培养了和声意识, 为今后有效地开展合唱教学奠定了基础。

三、运用柯尔文手势开展音阶游戏, 提高学生歌唱呼吸控制能力

歌唱历来是人们喜闻乐见的艺术形式, 而呼吸是歌唱的原动力和支持力, 是艺术表现的重要手段, 歌唱的高低强弱、抑扬顿挫全靠呼吸肌肉灵活有力地运动来完成。声乐界有“谁懂得呼吸, 谁就会唱歌”之说, 因此呼吸是歌唱者的一项基本功, 是形成美好声音的支柱。当学生学会用柯尔文手势唱“do”到“do’”八个音之后, 就可以利用手势进行音阶歌唱的游戏活动来锻炼和控制气息了。

引导学生进行有强弱对比的音程练习, 可结合小组牵手活动进行。比如做“主角”的“do”小组小朋友用较强的力度呼喊“re”小组:“1 2”, “re”小组小朋友用弱的力度回应:“2 1”;“do”小组呼喊“mi”小组:“1 3”, “mi”小组回应:“3 1”……以此类推, 各组轮流做游戏。如:

5.“跷跷板”游戏

唱音阶时让孩子们看谱视唱, 字体大的音唱得强一些, 字体小的音唱得弱一些, 看跷跷板偏向哪一个音?如:

进行“回声”和“跷跷板”游戏时一定要提醒孩子不要喊唱, 而是用有控制的声音演唱强弱, 用美好的声音歌唱。在手势的引导下, 学生慢慢学会了控制、调整和运用不同的气息唱出不同力度的歌声, 加强了气息的控制力和支撑力。
