needless to say, one of the biggest opportunities given to china is the XX olympic games.till now, we have used two sevenths of the preparation time.how much changes have you seen? new roads, new subway lines, public-exercising equipments with beautiful colors, large blocks of grass fields, and also lots of modern gyms which are under construction.other than those, there are even more good effects brought to us by the olympic games that cannot be seen directly.for example, more and more people will get to know china.i’m sure the mysterious chinese culture will attract them strongly.and the games will also do good to the economy and environment, for it is gaining the attention of foreign investors and the awareness of environmental protection is being strengthened.what is more, olympic games give a unique opportunity to inspire and educate a new generation of chinese youth with the olympic values and the olympic spirit.now that we have seen so many advances, could you even imagine us losing the holding rights? i’ve already said a lot about the olympics and china.but i think everyone should use some time to think of this question, ”does the olympic games have any special meaning to you?”

为丰富校园文化生活, 激发学生学习英语的兴趣, 展示中小学生英语水平, 提高学生口语交际能力, 促进学生开口说英语良好氛围的形成, 2009年5月9日, 五指山市在青少年活动中心举行首届中小学生英语演讲比赛, 全市20所中小学校, 共56名选手参加。

比赛分小学组、初中组和高中组进行, 各设一、二、三等奖和优秀指导老师奖。经过角逐, 市三小的卢永康, 市一小的吴金剑、朱典;南圣中学的黄东嫦、五指山中学的李少玲;职业技术学校的李雄平最终分别拔得小学组、初中组和高中组的头筹。

五指山市教科局副局长黄传雄、教研室主任郭义平到场观看演讲并为获奖选手们颁奖。

演讲的力量从古至今都是能够使人怦然心动的强大力量,它是一种重要的表达思想与达成目标的手段。国际演讲大师Stephen.E.Lucas认为公共演讲是一种将人的思想公之于众的方法,即一种与他人分享观点并影响他人的途径。自2002年起,我国每年举办一次由中央电视台和外语教学与研究出版社联合主办的“外研社杯”(原名“CCTV杯”)全国英语演讲大赛,迄今为止12年中,该赛事为国家外事交流、国际教育、科技政治等方面的进步选拔除了大批优秀的英语人才。他们精神矍铄,舌灿莲花,英语华丽,思辨突出。该赛事最具挑战性以及最能体现选手能力的部分便是即兴演讲环节。无可辩驳的是,英语即兴演讲正在潜移默化中推动学生进步,带动人们观念改变,深刻影响年轻一代的价值观念。

即兴演讲是最考察选手英语功底和思维敏捷度的环节。选手根据大赛组委会给出的一道命题(图片、视频、名言警句、文学介绍等)即席作出一段2分钟左右的演讲。在短暂的准备过程中演讲者不能像准备定题演讲一样广泛细致地搜集材料,而且也没有充分的时间精挑细选,基本上组织内容全仰照选手们的个人功底和文化素养。即兴赛题很大程度上考察选手对各国、各领域文化知识的领会和见解以及举一反三的能力。选手们作出的即兴演讲都是带有个人特征的分析和思考过后的慷慨陈词。文化因素寓于其中,是对知识的实践。在实践中发表看法,交流思想。

“外研社杯”全国英语演讲大赛的即兴演讲时间一般为三分钟,比赛形式主要有个人陈述(3分钟)、小组即兴演讲(3人一组)以及车轮战辩论。在较为段短暂的时间中,能够完整、清晰的阐释自己的观点已属不易,但优秀的选手往往能够通过自己的表达将思想世界公之于众,用思辨和文化的魅力征服评委,征服观众,也征服自己。纵观往届折桂的优秀选手,他们都有一个共同点:不光英语华丽突出,重要的是思想光芒万丈,独树一帜。在冗繁而具有深度的命题中将人们引入自己的内心世界。他们不光有缜密的逻辑、独特的视角,更重要的是无论他们是哪个专业种类的学生,都具有深厚的文化底蕴和文学素养。

As one philosopher once said,“You cant step into the same river twice.”… Right now I can remember a beautiful song.It says,“The love is a traveler on a river of no return.”该作者对河流的看法新鲜加之个人小清新风格,用包含“river”一次的话语和歌词代替个人想法,在即兴演讲中标新立异,文学素养和文化功底可圈可点。

本项赛事的即兴演讲,采用小组赛形式,三人一组分别对同一个题目发表看法。此项不仅考察对文化的认识理解,更进一步考验了选手们思维的广度及文化批判的新辣程度。

以上三位演讲者分别就梵高的画《向日葵》发表个人看法。对于《向日葵》这幅画所代表的意义和背后蕴含的文化内容众选手仁者见仁,智者见智。但进一步了解的基础则必须是对画作表面传达的文化因素进行分析。三位选手分别从梵高个人的生活状态经历、画作本身色彩布局、单一特殊的花朵位置等作为切入点,结合个人知识水平深入剖析,将一样的文化因素赋予了个人魅力,唇齿之间指点江山,思维碰撞出了灿烂的火花。

针对同一文化因素演讲的另一种形式是选手引用同一名人翘楚的名言,将有利于选题的词句作为利器武装思想,为演讲增色。

以上两段演讲中两位选手同样引用了哈利.波特丛书作者J.K.罗琳的事例作为构建演讲的重要素材。但这一人物案例分别就有利于演讲者演讲主题的角度进行取材。

serious look back at the past 15 years, a crucial period for every one of us and for this nation as well.though it is only within my power to tell about my personal experience, and only a tiny fragment of it at that, it still represents, i believe, the root of a spirit which has been essential to me and to all the people bred by the past 15 years.in my elementary years, there was a little girl in the class who worked very hard but somehow could never do satisfactorily in her lessons.the teacher asked me to help her, and it was obvious that she expected a lot from me.but as a young boy, restless, thoughtless, i always tried to evade her so as to get more time to enjoy myself.one day before the final exam, she came up to me and said, could you please explain this to me? i want very much to do better this time.i started explaining, and finished in a hurry.pretending not to notice her still confused eyes, i ran off quickly.nat surprisingly, she again did very badly in the exam.and two months later, at the beginning of the new semester, word came of her death of blood cancer.no one ever knew about the little task i failed to fulfill, but i couldnt forgive myself.i simply couldnt forget her eyes, which seem to be asking, why didnt you do a little more to help me, when it was so easy for you? why didnt you understand a little better the trust placed in you, so that i would not 小学生英语演讲稿的准备

1.根据听众对象,注意演讲的总体措词

演讲的总体措词是严肃一些还是活泼一些,是有较明显的说教口气还是用平等的口吻,等等,都要根据听众对象而定。如果场下听众是同龄的学生,那么演讲的内容只要风趣一些往往就能引起共鸣。但另一方面,如果听众大多是上了年纪的教师,太多的笑料反而会被认为“不严肃”,“不尊重”,而引起反感。

用英语演讲,不要用太多 i feel, i think,老是用i,显得十分主观,狭隘。如果通篇全是 i feel, i think 的内容,会给人觉得缺乏说服力。另外,perhaps, maybe 这样的词语,虽然有“客气,谦虚”的成分,但太多会让人觉得你演讲的内容有不可*之处。

还有,在演讲中,要少用you,多用we。用you等于把自己与听众对立起来,而用we则拉近了与听众的距离。比如:you should not smoke.听上去像教训人,而 let’s not smoke听起来是一个不错的建议。2.演讲要越短越好

4.英语演讲稿的语言特征

1)多用实词,多用短句,少用结构复杂的长句

在英语演讲中,and, but, so, then 等虚词要尽量少用,that, which 等词引导的定语从句也只会使句子结构变得复杂,而使听众难以跟上演讲者的思路,从而影响演讲的效果。相反,多使用实词,短句,可使得演讲内容更清晰,气势更磅礴。2)演讲要注意使用各种修辞手法,增加演讲的感染力和气势。英语演讲中常用的修辞手法有:渐进、对照、排比、警句等等,例如: that government of the people, by the people, for the people shall not perish from the earth.(排比)这个民有、民治、民享的国家将不会从地球上消失。united, there is little we can not do;divided, there is little we can do.(对照)团结,我们便将无所不能;分裂,我们则会一事无成。ask not what your country can do for you, ask what you can do for your country.(对照)不要问你们的国家能为你们做些什么,而要问你们能为你们的国家做些什么。

指导中学生参加演讲比赛的技巧 篇7

一、要选拔好参赛选手

这些选手在每次参赛前两个月开始,经过班、年级、学校的层层选拔后,再经过老师的点评辅导和反复练习。这一过程与其它学校没有什么不同的地方,无论是对演讲技巧的掌握,还是演讲稿的准备,上思中学的学生都没有什么特别的优势,作为辅导老师,我也谈不上有什么经验。然而,每次在与这些学生接触中,特别引起我注意的是学生对待演讲学习的态度,他们积极学习的态度,不仅可以帮助我挑选出有潜力的学生去参加比赛,而且可以帮助我提高和改进辅导方法。

二、要突出演讲特色

要使演讲取得成功,就要运用适当的辅导策略,如在某个方面标新立异,有所创新,给评委以一种新鲜、自然、协调、能使演讲增添效果的感觉,给评委留下深刻的印象,就能得到好分数。同时,还要善于揣测评委的某些意图,或者充分了解举办演讲的目的、要达到什么效果等,这些也能作为指导学生演讲方法的依据。

三、要精心准备好演讲稿件

(一)稿件要“上口”、“入耳”。

确定稿件,要求学生选材从身边的事写起,稿件一定要写自己的心之所想,是有感而发的东西,特别强调写演讲稿一定要口语化。“上口”、“入耳”是对演讲语言的基本要求,也就是说演讲的语言要口语化。演讲,说出来的是一连串声音,听众听到的也是一连串声音。听众能否听懂,不但要看演讲者能否说得好,更要看演讲稿是否写得好。如果演讲稿不“上口”,那么演讲得再好,也不能使听众“入耳”。演讲稿的“口语”,不是日常的口头语言的复制,而是经过加工提炼的口头语言,要逻辑严密,语句通顺。在修改演讲稿时,我把学生写的长句改成短句,把倒装句改成正装句,把单音词换成双音词,把听不明白的文言词语、成语改换或删除。演讲稿修改完后,我让选手念一念,我听一听,看看是不是“上口”、“入耳”了,如果感觉不那么“上口”、“入耳”,就做进一步修改。

(二)稿件要通俗易懂。

演讲是要让听众听懂的,如果使用的语言讲出来谁也听不懂,那么这篇演讲稿就失去了听众,因而也就失去了演讲的作用、意义和价值。鲁迅也说过,“为了大众力求易懂”。列宁说过,“应当善于用简单明了、群众易懂的语言讲话,应当坚决抛弃晦涩难懂的术语和外来的字眼,抛弃记得烂熟的、现成的但是群众还不懂的、还不熟悉的口号、决定和结论”。为此,在指导学生写演讲稿的时候强调语言要做到通俗易懂。

(三)语言要生动感人。

好的演讲稿,语言一定要生动。如果只是思想内容好,而语言干巴巴的,那就算不上是一篇好的演讲稿。毛泽东、鲁迅、闻一多的演讲,既有丰富深刻的思想内容,又有生动感人的语言。语言大师老舍说得好:“我们最好的思想,最深厚的感情,只能被最美妙的语言表达出来。若是表达不出,谁能知道那思想与感情怎样好呢?”因此在修改文稿的时候要仔细斟酌,反复推敲。

(四)选手要背熟稿件。

常常看到一些演讲者由于对稿子不熟,在台上卡壳、冷场,这是演讲最忌讳的事情。因此要求演讲者充分熟悉演讲稿,背得熟,并能正确把握文稿的内在涵义。尽量创造条件,让演讲者多进行“演习”,发现不足之处及时纠正,以不断提高演讲的效果和水平,同时也能使演讲者克服“怯场”等心理障碍,稳定情绪。

要熟悉稿件就得多练。一些人认为,好口才是天生的,其实不然,好口才是练出来的。有道是“台上三分钟,台下十年功”,演讲成功的秘诀就在于“勤讲多练”。

四、要积累临场经验

(一)舞台风格。

要对演讲者进行台风、仪态、表情及临场发挥能力的辅导,练习走台的时候,要求选手上台要情绪饱满,充满自信,步伐稳健自然,目光环视全场;下台步伐平稳,要避免“得意洋洋”或“神情疲惫”。

(二)语言艺术。

在演讲者练习读稿时,要对他们进行语调、情感等的辅导。纠正演讲者错误的发音、语气、语调。要求选手吐字要清晰,要让别人知道说的是什么东西,要流畅,不要有口头禅,有的选手演讲时喜欢每句后面用“啊、啊”,让人听起来很不是滋味。演讲要把声音送到人家耳朵里,让人听得清楚,所以要响亮。同时要注意把握语句节奏,控制时间,做到抑扬顿挫,语感、动感合乎情理,要避免背诵式演讲。

(三)肢体语言。

在练习肢体语言时,要求做手势要符合思想内容的需要,不能画蛇添足;手势要到位,不能随便晃晃,同时眼睛要看着观众最上面一排稍高一点的位置,这可让所有的人都觉得你在看他,演讲不仅是生动语言的交流,而且是眼睛的互动,所以你要让大家觉得你一直看着他们,这样他们才能体会出你演讲的内容。告诉学生不要始终朝一个方向看或四处张望。注重训练选手的面部表情,要求脸上的每个细胞、每个神经都表达某种意愿、某种感情、某种倾向。人的面部表情贵在自然、真挚。面部是思想的“荧光屏”,演讲者应融入合理的情感,配以自然的手势,把文中的内涵通过嘴和手势充分展现在观众(听众)的面前。

摘 要: 纵观多年来的“外研社杯”全国大学生英语演讲比赛,独立学院英语专业学生的战绩不容乐观。本文以探索独立学院英语专业学生英语演讲能力的薄弱项为切入点,有针对性地给出解决对策,指出通过恶补基础语音语法知识,加之英语阅读和英语交流的强化,以及专项系统的英语演讲训练是独立学院英语专业学生英语演讲能力提高的出路所在。

1.引言

英语演讲能力是英语专业学生应具备的最重要的专业技能之一。一个人的英语演讲能力与其英语口语能力和英语写作能力密切相关,但又自成体系。总体而言,相对一本、二本英语专业学生而言,独立学院英语专业学生的英语演讲能力相对较弱。

2.独立学院英语专业学生英语演讲能力一瞥

通过对100名温州大学瓯江学院英语系不同年级英语专业学生的问卷调查和半结构式访谈两种形式,以及近年来“外研社杯”全国大学生英语演讲比赛全国赛获奖学生的身份,笔者发现独立学院英语专业学生英语演讲能力普遍处于弱势地位。调查发现,很多英语专业学生缺乏演讲方面的锻炼,在半结构式访谈中,多数学生的英语表达会由于紧张、不自信等心理因素或是对话题不了解及不能深度评述话题导致表达不够流畅。同时这种演讲能力的不足体现在教学中回答问题的逻辑性不够和思考力的深度不够。

2.1独立学院英语专业学生的英语语音语调基础较差

很多独立学院学生未系统学过或未完全掌握国际音标的读音、单词拼读原则,以及与国际音标相关的音节、重音、失去爆破、弱读、连读、名词复数、部分动词过去分词与过去式的读音要领等,从而阻碍其英语口语能力的提升。此外,某些独立学院的英语专业学生会因不自信开口说英语,甚至产生消极不愿学音标的念头,认为只需要把笔头能力提高就能胜人一筹。在这些负面情绪的影响下,很难对语音语调的学习建立信心,反而会产生恶性循环。其实不管多晚,都是学习英语口语的好时机。

2.2独立学院英语专业学生的英语语法基础较薄弱

受重“英语听说”而忽略“读写”教学模式的影响,很多独立学院英语专业学生的英语语法极其薄弱,很多学生连最基本的时态、人称、主谓一致、句型结构知识都没有,无法根据要求对某一话题展开符合英语口语表达的个人陈述。其根本原因在于考生的高考成绩决定其基础水平,每个阶段的英语学习的积累让独立学院英语专业学生的语法知识相较于其他一本、二本院校的英语专业学生而言是短板,因此,教师在教学进度和教学任务的安排上也会受到限制。

从情理上说,在知道自身语法基础薄弱的前提下,加强自主学习,主动补上短板是行之有效的办法,但是很少有独立学院的学生切实关注到这一点。

2.3被忽略的第二课堂英语演讲训练

由于英语语言基础弱、缺乏信心与动力及学风不旺等原因,独立学院英语专业学生普遍忽略了在第二课堂中提高自身英语演讲能力的训练。温州大学瓯江学院的2009级和2010级英语专业学生的第二课堂学习做得非常不理想,只有不到1%的学生表示他们经常与外籍教师和国际留学生用英语交流,没有一个学生坚持写英语日记,大约3%的学生经常收听VOA或BBC的英语广播节目,不到0.5%的学生订阅英文报刊,大约2%的学生在进大学后的两年里读了一本英语原著小说,没有一个学生经常用英语写邮件和在QQ聊天工具上与人用英语交流[1]。

当我们把英语演讲放在舞台上,这就是一个人英语综合能力和各方面素质的综合体现,套用一句中国古话,那就是:台上一分钟,台下十年功。这句话虽然夸张了台下的努力,但是我们不能否定台上的无比自然、自信的演讲需要台下无比刻苦地付出练习。对于英语演讲的台下练习,在此称之为第二课堂英语演讲训练,其中包括自我训练(不断强化写作能力、模仿著名演讲以感受名人演讲的真谛、不断提高口语表达能力)和互动训练(寻找英语口语训练伙伴、参加英语角不断增加在公共场合发表意见的次数、在师长面前不断模拟演讲场景以改进舞台发挥的不足)。这两方面的练习都需要学生有强烈的提高演讲能力的渴望,从而合理安排学习时间,使得自己该领域的才华得以培养。但很可惜的是,大部分独立学院英语专业的学生没有这样的意识,浪费在大学期间学习英语的好资源。

3.提高独立学院英语专业学生的英语演讲能力之我见

针对独立学院英语专业学生的英语演讲能力普遍较弱的现实,笔者认为可以从以下几个方面开展针对性的训练。

3.1恶补国际音标及其相关知识

这里笔者建议的国际音标的学习就像是楼房的地基、火车运行的铁轨、机械手表里的发条,因为有了国际音标的储备,在开口说英语时就有了稳固的基础,在表达思想时就有通畅的语感,在自学外语的道路上就有无限的动力。说到系统地学习国际音标,很多学生会苦恼无从下手,觉得音标不是自己能完成的任务。但笔者的建议是,既然大家都知道“一口吃不成胖子”的道理,那么音标的学习就需要日积月累。

如果你了解运动,想要练就当下时尚的马甲线或者人鱼线的话,那么腹部肌肉的锻炼当然是必不可少的。在锻炼腹肌的过程中,每天的力量练习刺激腹肌肌群的生长,再加之合理科学的饮食管理,才有可能在未来的某一天实现完美腹肌的目标。国际音标的练习和马甲、人鱼线的练习极其相似,想要说出一口漂亮英语,离不开标准和到位的音标发音,想要脱口而出发音到位的音标,离不开一腔训练有素的口腔肌肉。在健身过程中,健身人士需要注意饮食搭配,践行“三分靠练,七分靠吃”的原则。在练习国际音标时,也有对应的“饮食搭配”,即语调和地道英语表达的搭配。

在口腔肌肉的练习过程中,若是有效地掌握对应音标的口型大小和舌头在口腔中的位置,对日后脱口而出“标准音标”和一口漂亮口语是有莫大帮助的。现在把口型和舌位的练习之于音标练习的作用比作调味品之于一道佳肴美味,那么每次练习的速度就犹如人们常说的火候。不同的练习速度,对大脑皮层语言区的刺激是不同的,正所谓火候会影响一道菜的口感。在初练口语时以最缓慢的速度说完,因为慢速给到大脑对新事物一个缓冲和记忆的过程,不仅需要记忆该部分汉英意思,还需要深刻记忆口型的大小和舌头在口腔中的位置,以便在练习速度增加后,不至于因为紧张或是忘记发音而语无伦次。慢速练习过后,可以尝试用正常语速还原练习部分,这一步骤就是对慢速时候能否掌握发音要点的自我考核。最后一个冲刺练习口腔肌肉的部分是需要以最快速度脱口而出,这一部分对口腔肌肉的刺激是最有效的,因为此时高速正确的发音能不断地高强度刺激口腔肌肉的形成,就像练马甲线一样,不断地有效练习之后,肌肉总是会朝着理想肌群发展,届时练习者的英语发音将出现一个质的飞跃。

上述提到的“饮食搭配”包含语调的练习和地道英语表达的积累。英语语调的练习离不开模仿,不断地模仿以致和原音频不断接近。多数练习者会把自己的声音录下来和原音频做对比,这是在没有专业指导老师在身边时较常用的办法。地道英语表达获得的途径就更加道广路长。最基本的积累途径是通过当下的教科书,以及和教科书配套的知识教材,可以通过影视作品学习英语国家人们的表达方式。此外,与外国友人交朋友也可以帮助英语学习者不断地尝试把学到的表达应用出来,同时增加自己对英语思维的运用。

3.2恶补英语语法知识

非英语国家英语学习者在接触英语语言学习之前并没有一段时间集中的、高强度的英语输入,这导致我们的大脑需要把英文翻译成中文,再由中文翻译成英文,最后把英文说出来。在这个过程中,要是没有语法基础,说出口的英文就会像“乱码”的信息,让人摸不透意思,这使得英语语法学习变得格外重要。

语法学习特别锻炼一个人的思维理解能力和整理东西的能力。如何整理东西的能力呢?因为不同的语法点会有不同的结构和自身特点,而在语言交流的过程中,肯定不止一个语法点的运用,这就需要英语学习者在大脑中要有一个整理规划语法点的地图,一般称之为思维导图,思维导图可以很清晰地呈现不同的语法点之间的关系,以及语法点的含义与构成。

以上是学习英语语法的一个概况,具体如何实施才能把一门陌生的外语语法运用得炉火纯青呢?还是要不断地练习。俗话说得好:Practice makes perfect.(熟能生巧。)这句话能够给语言学习者以强大的动力,特别是学习没有动力或是没有明显进步时,更加体现熟能生巧的意义,虽然一次练习并不能看到改变,其实每次有效练习都在积少成多,总有“鲤鱼跃龙门”的那一刻。

3.3参加英语角

或许一提到英语口语学习,大部分读者都会意识到英语角的重要性,但在现实生活中,“知道”与“做到”就差那么一点点。许多学生会抱怨英语角的活时间与自己已参加的某项活动有冲突,便放弃英语角。这一现象常出现在三本院校,就以温州大学瓯江学院社团分配为例,60%是娱乐型社团,35%是竞技类社团,只有5%是学术社团。从社团比例分配可窥见瓯江学院学生的课余生活导向,这是直接导致英语角作为学术性质出现的组织形式在三本院校会出现参与度不高的情况的原因。笔者建议要改变这一现象的根本是让学生意识到英语口语、演讲能力的具备在社会上是可以有用武之地的。其次,建议在校英语教师一视同仁,即使成绩受限的三本院校的学生,但在英语口语、演讲上依然可以是可塑之才。所以对学生发展最有帮助的是积极肯定学生的英语学习,不断发现学生独特闪光点,以及不断地为学生创新施展才华的机会并给予有效的指导。在此,笔者特此鸣谢温州大学瓯江学院副教授刘征兵老师,是他的不断肯定和鼓励,让笔者在演讲的道路上不断绽放,遇见可以变得优秀的自己。

对于和外国友人交朋友这一点,包括笔者在内的身边英语口语及演讲能力不错的朋友都受益匪浅。笔者在2016年7月中旬参加了APEC Future voice亚太经合组织未来之声全国决赛的选拔赛,获得了三等奖的成绩。在此期间,遇到不少优秀演讲者。当时在和来自重庆师范大学、西安翻译学院、外交学院、北京大学、清华大学的优秀选手作交流时,大家都认可一个必不可少的英语学习习惯——交朋友,并幽默地称“身边的朋友可以组成一个联合国”。这再一次印证了一位哲人说过的话:存在即合理。与以英语为母语的朋友进行交流,定会激发英语学习者大脑中的英语思维,调动习得的英语词汇和表达运用在交流过程中。就是不断重复这样的过程,才能真正地帮助到英语学习者脱口而出的英语是无限接近于英美国家的正常交流会话。演讲是同时对三人及以上人群交流会话的过程,所以只要对自己有帮助的学习办法都可以尝试,多给自己几次开口说英语的机会。

3.5阅读英文报刊和新闻

南京师范大学外国语学院副教授对全国英语演讲大赛获奖选手的评价中提到审题、思辨与知识储备及公众交流意识等方面的不足,在大学生中普遍存在,特别是审辩性思维能力的薄弱[2]。读报看新闻最重要的是培养当代青年的世界观和价值观,读英文版本可以帮助我们了解外国资深人士对某问题的独到见解和逻辑思维。在日积月累的知识输入后,大脑自然会合成自己的看法和思路,然后通过发表个人观点的形式表达。由此看来,阅读英语报刊和新闻对自我观点的形成和申辩性思维能力的培养是相当有帮助的。

3.6观看近年来的各种英语演讲视频

通过观看近年来“外研社杯”全国大学生英语演讲比赛全国赛获奖学生的演讲视频、北京大学和清华大学辩论赛决赛视频、美国总统演讲视频,可帮助提升独立学院英语专业学生的英语演讲技巧和人文关怀。

3.7开展专题演讲训练

以上所列举的为英语学习的口语训练和综合素质养成,这二者的完美结合能帮助演讲者呈现一场观点清晰、思路流畅、能引起听众共鸣的成功演讲。那么这里建议的开展专题演讲训练即如何完美结合训练有成的漂亮口语发音和已养成的综合素质。步骤一:创作演讲稿:拟定一篇主题鲜明、观点清晰、思路流畅的演讲稿,不断地修改演讲稿直至不能再修改一句为止;步骤二:背诵演讲稿:利用短暂记忆在一两个工作日脱稿背出自己的演讲稿,并在接下来一周内利用零碎时间不断重复背诵,直到可以不用思考便快速背出;步骤三:演绎演讲稿:建议在1至3名观众面前演绎自己的演讲稿,不断让观众提出建设性意见,最后在指导老师或是有经验的优秀演讲者面前演绎并录下视频,根据对方提的有效意见,再进行练习改进,这样重复直至真正上台演讲。在此之后,还可以经常尝试即兴演讲,这其中即兴发挥的刺激与挑战定能激发学生对演讲的热情和动力。

4.结语

英语演讲能力的提高或者说英语演讲实力的蜕变不是一蹴而就的美差,没有付出时间和精力,漂亮发音需要的口腔肌肉是难以形成的;没有大量写作练习的积累,有条理性的、有共鸣的演讲稿是很难以从笔头自然流淌的;没有日复一日地台下操练,台上泰然自若的豪情演讲是不能战胜紧张怯场的情绪的。此文借鉴多方学者的学习和教学经验,望能真切帮助需要提高英语演讲能力的独立学院英语专业学生及英语演讲爱好者们。
