进入初三, 每个班的英语水平参差不齐, 在这种情况下采取小组合作学习可以起到很有效的成果。合作学习中, 根据学生的性别、语言能力、英语知识水平等将学生分成几个小组。每个小组中都有能力强的, 也有能力弱的, 通过“强帮弱, 弱学强”, 促成小组成员之间互相帮助和共同提高。合作学习主要在以下几个方面实施:
一、合作记忆词汇和短语
总复习中词汇和短语的记忆和掌握是一个大难题, 一是因为学生本身就认为记单词既难又枯燥, 且要在短时间内将初中所学单词掌握牢固, 灵活运用, 确实有一定的难度。但使用合作学习策略, 就能化难为易, 提高学生的学习兴趣, 取得意想不到的效果。如在复习常用动词词组时, 教师给出动词, 可要求各个合作小组讨论并写出有关这些动词的词组, 如make:make sb. dosth. / make sb.+adj. / sb. be made to do sth. / makeup / make friends / be made up of等。通过小组讨论弄清含义及用法, 可以通过词组造句或讲故事的方法来理解并记住单词及词组的用法。采用合作学习的策略, 大大提高了同学复习词汇的兴趣和积极性, 教学效果显著。
二、合作复习语法
语法是英语复习中最艰难的部分, 时间花得多, 往往收效却不大。合作学习可以使枯燥的语法知识变得生动有趣, 使学生积极主动、快乐地掌握巩固语法知识。合作学习中, 小组成员间共同承担责任, 共同分享成果, 在完成任务的过程中为实现共同的目标而互相鼓励、互相帮助。为了共同的目标发挥各自的优势, 取长补短, 互相纠正语法表达上的错误, 这对于语法较差的同学来说无疑帮助很大。他们可以借助同伴的力量更好地掌握并运用语法知识。例如, 在复习形容词比较级这一节时, 我要求各组同学在两张纸上列出10个不同的名词 (名词可限定范围如动物类、国家类等) , 然后将纸条打乱发给各个小组, 每组两张, 将所得的纸条上的名词随机组合成对, 用形容词比较级、原级造句。如:“The bus runs faster than the bike. The bike doesn’trun as fast as the bus. China has a larger population than America.”在此过程中, 程度较差的组员可能会出现一些错误, 程度较好的组员就会帮助组员纠正错误, 掌握正确的语法知识。最后每组派一名同学向全班朗读本组所造的句子, 其他组可提出自己的异议、看法, 任务完成得好的小组可加分。
三、合作提高阅读能力
阅读理解是英语考试中占分最重的部分, 直接关系到考生考试成绩的高低。阅读能力的提高取决于阅读训练, 因此, 我布置每位同学每天至少完成阅读2篇文章并完成文章后的题目。在阅读过程中遇到的问题, 可拿到小组讨论。每周各小组长要检查组员阅读的情况, 并交老师检查。课堂上为了提高学生的快速阅读能力, 教师要精心设计各项任务, 由学生通过合作完成。学生在完成任务的过程中就是一个合作、互动、创新的过程。小组合作阅读活动可以激发学生的阅读兴趣, 促使他们进行积极思考和进行有意义的语言实践。
四、合作提高写作能力
写作课上, 教师把要写的材料发给各组, 进行小组讨论。在小组内进行协商, 讨论分析题意, 概括要点, 进一步完善, 拓展写作思路。学生的思维、智慧共享, 有利于学习的广泛迁移。讨论完成后, 每个小组成员再独立完成写作。独立写作后, 教师简要传授修改策略, 在小组内互评互改, 进行必要的补充和删减。每个组员都要批改本组成员的作文, 用词不当或错误的地方用红笔划出来, 同时, 好词好句也要划出来。组内改完, 还可进行组间互评, 评出优秀作文和优秀评阅小组。作文讲评时, 老师要宣读优秀范文和奖励优秀评阅小组。这种组员之间的互评互改, 能帮助学生在课堂上形成一种相互合作的氛围, 能发展他们的批判性思维和分析能力。每个学生为了自己和小组的荣誉, 认真写作, 主动写作, 既提高了每个组员的写作能力, 又增加了小组的凝聚力。
在组织总复习工作中,主要抓好以下几个方面的问题。
一、教学生明确目的,端正学生的学习态度,集中精力投入中考复习
在目前的教学双边活动中,的确有相当一部分学生学习目的不明确,纪律松散,总抱着“大势已去,即使有回天之力也难以弥补以往失去的一切……”的种种绝望心理,整天糊里糊涂混日子。针对这种情况,教师应给予正确的引导,以自己的实际行动来感染他们,通过各种途径,设法使他们明确目的,端正态度,集中精力,信心百倍地投入到中考总复习中。
二、把中考总复习计划交给学生,合理安排时间
教学毕竟是教与学双边活动,任何单方面努力都无法完全达到目的。只有双方的互相配合,互相促进,相互照应,才能取得预期的效果。所以,教师制定出切实可行的总复习计划之后,应把自己的复习打算告诉学生或尽可能做到每个学生一份计划表,使他们明确总复习的内容、目的,只有这样,最终才会实现共同的目标,收到好的效果。再者,要把复习的方法教给学生。根据学生基础层次的不同,老师应施于不同的方法来引导他们进行总复习。起始阶段,纵向复习:以课本为主,以本为本,兼顾语音、语调、常用句型、动词短语的运用训练,整理初中阶段的全部内容,使其系统化、条理化,形成一个完整的整体。接着再进行横向复习:以大纲为主,兼顾阅读、表达能力的训练。老师拟定总复习计划时,应参照学校的计划,尽量避免和全校性活动及放假时间上的冲突,以免打乱正常复习进度、内容。然后,尽可能做到每个学生一份计划表,这样,便于学生自觉地按实际、按时间有计划地复习。尤其最关键的一点,老师应尽量做到“精讲多练”,尽可能把较多的时间还给学生,杜绝“满堂灌”。
三、及时提出明确的复习要求
在学年初,教师要根据教学大纲和上级教育行政部门对九年级英语课的总要求、中考范围,结合本校的教学实际情况,制定总复习计划,包括有些重点内容,及时、准确、具体要将这一计划传达给每个学生,便于他们能尽早地制定出适合自己的复习计划。
四、注意信息交流和题型的研究
这里所说的信息,是指中考题型的变化和动向。作为教师,尤其是九年级教师,不仅要研究教学内容和教学方法,而且还要注意对考题题型的分析。
五、为总复习提供必要的材料和依据
对第一次中考试卷进行认真、仔细地分析,取得参考价值的材料和数据。例如,初中教材1-5册范围内常用词共有733个,习惯用语或固定搭配237个。把凡是试卷中出现过的单词逐个拣出,编制历届英语试卷所用单词总表,单词总数。又如,按中考的题型分类:语音、语法、词汇以及补全对话中的有关习惯用语各方面都进行分类归纳,进行累计分析,编发语音、词汇、语法项目参考表等。

随着信息技术的不断发展和深入, 英语学科越来越显出举足轻重的作用。对于我们中学的师生来说要掌握好这门学科, 必须根据英语学科自身的特点和我们自己学习英语时所碰到的具体问题, 要采用恰当的方法, 主动地进行有效的复习。要尊重学生的个体差异, 对有特殊需要的学生, 教师应给予必要的指导和帮助;要帮助学生摸索适合自己的学习方法, 了解和掌握记忆的规律, 养成良好的学习习惯, 培养学生自主学习的能力。同学们学了七八年的英语, 在中考时要想有一个良好的发挥, 把握好英语专项基础知识的复习提高与巩固非常重要。
由于毕业班, 复习时间紧、任务重, 又必须达到预期目标, 取得理想成绩, 是一个值得探讨的问题, 我根据这一问题, 采取了以下几种方法。
一、依照学习规律, 遵循由易到难
我们根据学生的实际情况, 发现基础好的学生, 各方面的基础知识都比较扎实, 但基础弱的学生却连最基础的字母和音标都不会。针对这两种情况, 我发现在上初中四册课本时, 两极分化的情况越来越严重, 而最终会导致那些基础不好的一部分同学, 因为这四册英语课本的词汇量多, 语法又比较多, 并且全是重点, 如果讲得太快, 他们会接受不了。因此, 我们先从第一册开始复习, 目的是让学生树立起学习英语的信心。第一册上、下和第二册内容稍微简单一些, 我们针对重点知识, 贯穿课本这根主线, 对学生进行最基础知识的复习。重点是词汇和情景交际的句型。在复习了一个阶段之后, 对学生进行一下检测, 效果还是比较好的。主要表现在: (1) 学生的书写比较认真。 (2) 基础的词汇做的很好。 (3) 简单的句型比较正确。在复习完一册和二册之后, 我们对三册进行了全面的重点复习。因为第三册是第四册的分支, 第三册基础知识内容都讲明白了、讲细了, 再学习第四册时, 学生接受起来会更加轻松。在复习第三册时, 我们的重点是先复习每单元的生词 (听写) , 对课文中的知识点, 以题目的形式打印出来发给学生, 让学生有的放矢, 同时也是对课文知识系统全面的复习。我们对于课文中的重点句子, 都要及时听写或提问, 强化学生的记忆, 我们三个英语老师在单元复习前, 都要进行集体备课, 各抒己见, 把认为该讲的地方都一一罗列出来, 然后汇总下来, 每个人在一单元结束后, 负责出一套系统的题目, 我们的分工很明确, 大家都很认真负责, 确保学生们能够得到扎实有效的复习效果。
在复习完前三册课本之后, 我们开始第四新课本的学习。这次的重点是培养学生的阅读能力和扩大学生们的词汇量。每一单元的大部分内容都是让学生自己来完成, 我们教师只是起点拨的作用。课文的阅读内容很广泛, 涉及人文、地理等各个方面, 学生都很感兴趣。因为第四册要求的语法结构, 在前三册我们刚刚复习过, 印象还比较深, 学生接受和掌握起来还是比较容易的。
二、运用多媒体, 进行各方面知识的巩固
随着复习的内容越来越多, 知识越来越多, 只靠一支粉笔和一个黑板的简单的教学手段, 已经适应不了教学的需要。我们每个教室都有一套多媒体, 利用多媒体课件教学, 大大提高了课容量, 提高了教学效率, 提高了复习效果。每当看到大屏幕, 学生就特别活跃, 课堂气氛也很热烈, 学生情绪高涨。多媒体教学大大提高了教学内容的表现力和感染力, 改变了学生被动接受教育的状况, 达到了传授知识、开发智力和培养能力的目的。
三、综合复习、突出重点、强化训练
我们针对学生的实际情况和中考题型的特点, 重点训练了学生的书面表达和听力方面。书面表达的关键在于它不同于语文要求你发挥很多想象, 运用多种手段, 把文章写得有血有肉, 他要求以简练的句子表达准确的主题思想。但学生在写的过程中老是写的拖泥带水, 恐怕写短了, 也不管对与否就写到纸上, 岂不知, 写得再多, 不切题, 句子不正确也是不得分的。我们在平时的检测和写作练习中, 详细批阅, 对于学生的错误指点得很明确, 让学生有的放矢, 让其在以后的学习中少犯错误, 明白简单的、基本的句型要准确, 写完之后要认真检查, 效果才会好。
四、注重师生之间的关系, 让学生乐于学习
我们非常注重和学生搞好关系, 在作业评语中, 我们总给学生写一些鼓励性的话语, 让他们在学习中增强信心, 在课下询问他们学习和生活中遇到的困难, 帮助他们解决。初中学生的可塑性大, 上课时你对他们微笑, 他们也会对你微笑, 你板着脸时, 他们也会低着头。为此, 要让学生在课堂上愿意学习、乐于学习, 才能提高学习的效率, 所以, 融洽的师生关系是学生学习的前提保证。只要同学们掌握住平时课本中的知识点, 打牢基础, 灵活应用就能考好。
总之, 为了让学生在这一年中学有所获, 劳有所得, 我们都抱着有付出就有收获的信念, 真诚地面对每一位学生。

一、补全对话
该题型得分率较低主要有于以下几个原因: 1.学生口头交际语背得太少,有些学生连Hows it going? Whats the matter? What happened? Hows your new school?等基本交际语都写不对。2.学生在根据上下文推测空格处所要填的内容方面有困难。40%的学生补全对话的5个空格只填2~3个,剩下的2~3个空格通常都为空白。3.学生写出的句子语法错误较多。
针对第一个原因,教师一方面可要求学生每天背诵并默写1~2 个口头交际语。在背诵过程中,要提醒学生不要马虎大意,切不可将Whats the matter?写成Whats matter?也不可将What happened?写成Whats happened? 另一方面,教师在讲课的时候,可以尽量整节课用英语来讲授,增加英语口头语的输入。当对学生提问时,要求学生用完整的符合英语语法的句子回答问题。还有,教师可以把每周四设定为英语日,在这一天,全班学生必须用英语与同学对话,为学生营造一个英语世界。这项规定刚开始实施时可能会有较大难度,但只要教师以身作则,将它当成一项硬性要求来坚持,一两个月后,必能带给学生巨大的好处。
针对第二个原因,首先,指导学生通读对话,并就此推测双方的身份、谈话内容和双方的关系。其次,指导学生根据上下文语境、标点符号初步确定并用铅笔书写答案。例如A:__________________? In a hotel? B:We camped in the mountains. 从空格后的in a hotel? 和回答We camped in the mountains.可得知,空格处应该询问地点,应该填写Where 开头的特殊疑问句。又因为后文的In a hotel?和动词过去式camped存在,所以正确答案是Where did you live/stay? 不少学生答案为Where did you go/camp? 或Where do you live/stay?都是因为忽视了上下文的语境。
针对第三个原因,教师应指导学生仔细检查句子的语法是否正确,并最终确定答案。检查时要注意所写的句子时态是否使用恰当,是否符合英美国家的风土人情和语音习惯,切不可写出Where are they come from? What do you doing just now ?等错句。也不能将发表观点看法的Hows your new school?与提建议的What about your new school?混为一谈。
二、书面表达
第一,基础。从英语句子的五种基本结构开始强化训练,指导学生通过小组合作写出有头有尾的完整的句子。
第二,背诵。每周列出3-5条常用谚语或好词好句,要求学生小组合作,相互监督,一起背诵,并小组合作探讨每个句子用在哪种话题作文中最恰当。
第三,当堂写作。当堂写作前,允许学生用10分钟的时间小组合作审题,弄清作文的人称、时态、体裁等,也可列出作文的提纲,再用20分钟的时间独立完成写作任务。
第四,相互修改。修改作文能促进学生更快的进步和成长。当局者迷,有时学生自己难以发现自己在语法、人称、单词拼写、表达中文化这些错误,作文的结构段落不够分明,通过小组合作修改,让学生给他人诊病、请他人诊病,大家在这个过程中一起飞速成长。
三、听力
第一,多积累听力常用词汇。听力题会涉及推测人物关系,推测对话地点,计算时间,统计数量等。所以,教师应要求学生将听力中常用的词汇烂熟于心。例如: 通过Would you like to see the menu?中的“menu”可推测对话地点在餐馆,对话双方关系为顾客和服务员。Order,book a room, clerk, flat, menu ,half an hour ,half price ,test paper, go hiking这些词若出现在笔试题中可能并不会给学生造成太大困扰,可若出现在听力中,由于语速、连读、爆破等原因,就很有可能导致学生们丢分。
第二,突击日常听力训练。课堂上英语输入太少,课后基本无英语交流,这严重弱化了学生听力的能力。若在临近中考最后两个月每天早读和下午班务处理时间各听15分钟,则能起到立竿见影的效果。
