知识目标: 1.学生能听懂、会说、认读并书写词汇:in front of,behind,she,he 2.学生能听懂、会说下列句子:Li Ming is in front of the tree.Li Ming is behind the tree.能力目标:能准确运用Where is xx?的句式及表示方位介词in, on,under, beside ,between…… and……, in front of,behind的用法,在用中学,在学中用,培养运用语言的能力。

情感态度与学习策略目标:

1.培养对英语的兴趣和学习英语的好奇心。2.培养学生团结合作的意识。重点难点 教学重点

T:Hello,everybody.How are you ? Nice to meet you!What day is it today ? Is everyone here? How many students are there in our class? I’ll divide you into 3 groups.(增强竞争意识)Step 2:Warm up(热身来复习以前学到的内容)(5分钟)

1、T:Look!What’s this?(出示图片)Ss:It’s a tree.(通过图片引出教学内容)Let one student come to the front of the classroom.T:Who is this? Ss:This is xx.T: Is he a boy? Yes, he’s a boy.(板书 he)T:Where’s xx? Ss:He’s in front of the tree.T:Yes, He’s in front of the tree.(引出新单词)Teach the word :front,in front of T:Follow me.Read it one by one.T:Let’s play a game high and low voice.(通过游戏来让孩子在愉快的氛围中充分操练单词 ,表现好的小组得一颗星)

2、Look at PPT.Look and say.T:Read these sentences in pairs.3、The same to the word behind.(Let a girl come to the front.)T: This is a girl.She’s

Let some students act the roles of Danny、Steven、Jenny、Kim etc.1、Act out Picture 1.T:Where is Danny? Ss:He’s in the classroom.He’s in front of Steven.T:What’s he doing? Ss: He’s reading a book.T: Where is Steven? Ss: Look at PPT.Look and say.Listen and repeat.Please imitate the voice.Read it in groups.(表现好的小组得一颗星)

2、The same to Picture 2.Step 6:Letters and sounds.(Part 4)(3分钟)

T: Let’s read these words.Teach the sound /i:/.Let the students try to read.The same to the sound /e/、/U:/、/u/.Read the new words again.Listen and repeat.Please imitate the voice.Step 7:Play the game.(2分钟)

T: I say a word.And you say another.For example.book—— look T: head、easy、cool、weather、foot、mean(学生们积极参与分辨元音的游戏,表现好的小组得一颗星)

教学反思

通过对《课标》的学习和理解,以及对学生和本课教材的分析,我在Where Is Danny ?一课的教学活动中,突出了以下几点:

1、利用多种多样的形式激发学生学习英语的兴趣。在本课教学中,首先我用抢答的形式让学生来复习学过的数词,然后用说唱的形式让学生复习方位词,并让学生熟悉新词in front of、behind。这一活动为学生们创设了英语课的情境,提高了学生学习英语的兴趣,他们在活动中愉快地复习了知识。教学新知的时候,我用high and low voice 游戏巩固单词,让学生扮演书中人物和做游戏,在相对真实的情境中学习英语,练习英语。

2、通过任务型交际活动培养学生综合运用语言的能力。本课中,我设计了“Where’s Danny ?”这一目的明确的教学任务,并把完成任务的主动权交给了学生。学生根据图片做出不同的对话内容。学生需要用语言来交际、完成任务,本课需复习、巩固、掌握有关方位的介词及情境交际用语。这样就符合了《课标》中 “活动要能够促使学生获取、处理和使用信息,用英语与他人交流、发展用英语解决实际问题的能力”。

3、循序渐进,学以致用,让学生在轻松的环境中掌握语音知识。

语音知识是英语学习中的难点,也比较枯燥,学生们兴趣较小。我利用课件让学生循序渐进地学习本课新的元音,反复练习后,和学生做辨别元音的游戏,不但锻炼孩子们的听力,还能扩展孩子们的词汇量。

Step 1: Warm up

Sing a song:Our School will Shine:(通过说唱、唱歌等形式,引入课堂)

Step 2: Revision

Show students some photos, ask and answer: ----- panda, grass, fish, China, Australia?

Where are pandas from? What are their favorite?

(学生复习五个已学过的单词,导出问题)

Step 3. Presentation

1. Learn new words: bamboo, kangaroo, leaf, penguin, the South Pole.

e.g T: What’s this?( Show a photo of kangaroo?)

2. Learn to say and spell “bamboo, kangaroo, leaf, penguin, the South Pole”.(学生跟读词 ,并拼写词)

3. Show the photos, ask and answer: (

----Where are they( for example, pandas) from?

-----They are from________.

----What is their favorite?

----They like______/______is their favorite.

4. Learn to say the following on the blackboard:(继续引出其余四个词组,并将词组写在黑板上),

panda, bamboo, China

penguin, fish, the South Pole

Step4. Drill and practice:

1. Look at the photos, ask and answer:(通过模糊画面,巩固句型)

----Where are they( for example, pandas) from?

----What is their favorite?

----They like______/______is their favorite.

2. Listen to the dialogue and think abotut the quesions,让学生边听音边思考:Where are they from? What’s their favoritefood?听完录音,引导学生回答以上问题。

3.对话教学。

先让生看一遍课文,接着听录音看课文。第二遍要求听音指句子。第三遍再放录音时,师要求生跟读。接着分组练习。最后分角色朗读课文。

Step 5. Consolidation and extension

1.完成课本第23页的Look and write.

1)请学生看图说一说再写下来,教师巡视并指导。

2)请学生上台板书,教师订正。

Step6. Homework

1、听录音,熟读课文内容。

2、完成《活动手册》上本课的练习。
