一、冠词

三、动词时态

四、代词

六、连词及与并置问题

七、形容词、副词

一、选材特点

高职英语短文改错取材通常是类似学生作品的短文,以叙述文为主,文中句子结构较为简单,内容相对完整且易于学生理解。如2007年和2010年选用的人物介绍,2008年的感谢信,2009年的自我介绍。

二、命题特点

从表一、表二中我们可以看出,考试中设疑方式就是多词、缺词、错词和正确项四种。考点主要分布在动词、介词、形容词(副词)、名词这几块中,同时也小比例地考察考生对冠词、连词、代词等的掌握程度。

三、解题技巧与备考方略

1.通读全文,把握大意

短文改错不同于单词改错,它涉及逻辑行文错误,及句子与句子之间必要的联系。如2008年题目中的第100题,2009年的第94题,2010年的第97题。若不将上下文联系起来看,就无法发现这几处的错误。因此,做题前必须通读全文,把握文章的大意及上下文之间的联系。

2.记住多、漏、错及正确项命题的数量比例

改错的短文一般在100个单词左右,短文的难度也与考生的习作相当,分成10行,每行设一个小题。一般只有1行全部正确,其他9行都存在错误。从表一、二中我们可以发现,在短文改错中正确项、多词、少词一般都各只有1个,剩余的基本上都是错项,而且正确项都是放在中间的位置的,如口2007年、2008年、2009年题目中的第98题,2010年的第99题。

3.准确把握命题者常用的设疑方式及考点

(1)名词:名词的错误是考试常设的改错项目之一,主要考查名词是否可数,与其修饰语是否一致及复数变化。如2007年题目中的第99题,2008年的第94题,2009年的第93题,2010年的第91题。

(2)冠词:英语中只有三个冠词,在短文改错中,错误不外乎该用冠词时没有用,不该用时却用了;该用an时却用了a,该用a(n)却用了the。但在近几年的考试中,我们可以看出命题者己经极少在改错题中考查这一知识点了。

(3)代词:代词主要注意其数、格、词性是否正确和前后一致,常考的代词包括人称代词、指示代词、反身代词、关系代词及疑问代词等。如2009年题目中的第94题,2010年的第100题。

(4)介词:介词的错误也是考试常设的改错项目之一。主要考查介词与动词、形容词、名词的搭配,介词惯用词组等是否正确。如2007年题目中的第92、98题,2008年的第91、98题,2009年第95题,2010年的第94题。

(5)形容词、副词:形容词、副词的误用主要指形容词和副词的混淆使用。改错行中出现形容词或副词时就要仔细分析该形容词或副词修饰什么,形式是否正确,是原级、比较级还是最高级。如2008年题目中的第93题,2009年的第100题。

(6)连词:考生主要是判断连词用得是否正确,是否符合句子意思;连接的是词还是句子,是否符合逻辑关系。如果是平行结构就要注意前后时态、语态、词性一致的问题。如2008年题目中的第i00题,2010年的第97题。

(7)动词:动词错误在短文改错中所占比重最大,涉及动词的时态、语态错误;易混动词的用法错误;动词的第三人称单数错误;动词的非谓语形式以及句型搭配、主谓一致错误等。如2007年题目中的第91、93、94、97、100题,2008年的第92、95,。97题,2009年的第91、96、98题,2010年的第92、93、95、98题。

短文改错的题是一篇意思连贯,但有九行文字中各有一个语法或用词错误的英语短文。它所涉及的知识面很广,能力要求较高。而且题中所设的错误常常是考生自己在写作中经常出的语法错误,是专门针对考生的弱点而设的。但它又从另一个角度考查了语法知识的运用。因此,做题时,应从以下几个方面着手解题:动词使用错误;名词使用错误;形容词,副词使用错误;连词使用错误;代词使用错误;冠词使用错误;介词使用错误,上下文逻辑错误等。

在研究每一行的句子时,首先把握句子的意思,然后划分句子的成分:主语;谓语部分;宾语;状语:地点,时间,方式等。如果句子是并列句或复合句,先分开各部分小的分句,根据各个分句之间的关系判断使用的连词是否正确。然后再研究各个分句的成分。

(一)名词使用错误:名词一般在句中做主语或宾语,名词的错误主要在于名词单,复数的错误使用。

1.They were eager to know everything about China and asked me lots of question.: question是可数名词根据本句的意思,前面有lots of修饰,应当改为复数形式。2.We study quite a few subject, such as maths, Chinese, English and physics.:subject是可数名词根据本句的意思,前面有quite a few修饰,应当改为复数形式。

3.We practise three times every week and often watch football match on TV together.:根据本句的意思match在此应当改为复数形式。

4.Happy birthday, Peter, and many return of the day.:return在此是名词,应当改为复数形式:many returns of the day是祝贺人们生日的固定用语:祝你健康长寿。

5.He said that she and my schoolmate all wishes me success.:all 在句中提示了除我以外schoolmate应当是复数形式。

6.On the way up I was taking picture since the scenery was so beautiful.:picture应当改成复数形式,因为作者一路上忙于照相,不止仅照一张像。另外还要注意名词所有格形式上的错误使用。

<一> 作为谓语动词,注意谓语动词在时态,语态,与主语是否一致以及用词方面的问题。1.My favourite sport is football.I was a member of our school team.:全句的基本时态应当是现在时,was应改为am 2.Playing football not only makes us grow up tall and strong but also give us a sense of fair play and team spirit.:主谓一致的错误。Give的主语是Playing football,动名词作主语是单数形式,应改为:gives 3.I use to play ping-pong a lot in my spare time, but now I am interested in football.:前半句是说过去的事情used to do :过去常常做某事。use改为:used 4.…the scenery was so beautiful.The time passes quickly.Evening came down.:时态错误。全句是过去时态,passes 改为passed 5.As we climbed the mountain, we fed monkeys, visiting temples and told stories.:动词形式的错误。句中有三个连续的动作做谓语。因此visit不是伴随状语,是第二个谓语动词,应该为visited.6.The Internet is a computer network that use the telephone system to link millions of computers around the world.:句中定语从句中的谓语动词use 的主语是先行词a computer network,是单数形式,所以按主谓一致的原则use改为:uses.<二> 作为非谓语动词,现在分词,过去分词,动名词,不定式形式的使用错误,同时注意非谓语动词在平行结构中出现的错误。

为提高初中生的英语改错能力,教师需深入分析,系统性提高其改错能力,正视他们在练习中出现的错误,要不怕学生出错,并着重调动其改错积极性,保护学习自信。在初中英语课堂教学中,教师应为学生提供更多的练习机会,鼓励他们提出各种各样的问题,调动其学习兴趣;在练习环节,尽量吸引学习水平一般的学生参加,刻意让他们回答问题,即使回答错误或不够全面,也不能批评,而且耐心倾听,鼓励他们积极改错,完成任务。

同时,初中英语教师需紧抓学生在练习中的典型错误,有的错误可能一点就破,有的则会随着他们英语知识水平的逐步提升,能够自动克服。如果遇到错误就纠正,将会影响学生学习英语知识的积极性,甚至会丧失自信。所以,教师应仅仅把握知识重点,归纳和总结典型错误,提高学生的英语改错能力。另外,为防止他们在练习、作业和考试中多次出错,教师应指导学生构建一个错题集,将自己以往英语知识学习过程中遇到的错误记录下来,并包括类型、原因和纠结方法,在平常经常翻看。由于错题集具有较强的针对性,学生的印象会更加深刻,可有效减少同类错误的再次出现,改错能力得以提高。

一、改错内容分析

纵观所有的英语改错题目,我们不难发现,英语改错题目不外乎就是考查学生对动词、冠词、介词、形容词、副词、代词、并列连词以及各类从句和语法的掌握程度。其中所要考查的内容有其大致固定的模式。

动词,以考查学生对其时态、语态和非谓语动词的判别为主;冠词,重点在于检验学生对其基本用法的掌握;介词,考查其固定搭配;名词,单复数的判别最重要;形容词,主要考查其基本的用法;副词,较多地考查其修饰的成分对不对;代词,考查句子前后内容中指代的一致性;并列连词,以考查文章的逻辑为主;各类从句,检查学生对引导词的掌握程度。

二、解题技巧

1.“四查”原则:瞻前顾后查名词,与“时”俱进查动词,启承转合查连词,文通理顺查逻辑。

2.统筹全局:迅速阅览全文,把握文章的主要信息,包括文章大意、所用时态以及人称变换等,标出文章的明显错误,并思考句与句之间的逻辑是否正确。

3.逐句纠错。“题以行出,错从句生”是英语短文改错的大致规律,所以纠错时应该以句子为单位进行。复合句查连词,主句从句和单句主要看其语法是否正确,最后检查句子的词法是否有误。

4.前后兼顾:注意文章中行与行之间的语义联系。

5.复查确认:题做完之后将正确答案放在文中进行默读式的检查。

6.规范答题:检查自己所答的题目是否符合要求。

三、具体解题规律

名词,混用单复数,可数与不可数误用。

动词,主谓一致、非谓语、语态和时态是否正确。

冠词,冠词冗余或乱用。

连词,错用导致句子前后逻辑改变。

数词,序数词与基数词分不清楚。

句式,对定语从句、名词性从句,强调句和倒装句等判断不正确,对句子的连词乱用。

保持原意不变,从句子本来的意思出发,改正句中的一些用词、语法和逻辑等方面的错误,切忌不可改变文章的原意。
