Compared with over 100 days' exhausting school life, summer holiday is definitely a golden time for relaxation and entertainment. We can set aside the studies, lock away the textbooks, forget everything about school, and greet the new life with our arms open up. During the two months' loose, we enjoy ourselves thoroughly, sleeping till when the sun is high in the sky, playing computer night and day, watching TV as long as we want to, and traveling around like a tramp. Time rolls by, and it is not until at the end of the holiday that we suddenly find our home assignment remaining blank sheets of paper. Then we go mad, and devote the last days to fulfilling the homework.
The same summer holidays pass year after year, and year after year, we regret when they come to an end. We regret having wasted so much time on recreations, instead of our lessons, and regret having worn away our youth in trifles.
Although it was still the case this summer, I dare say this was the most fruitful holiday I had ever spent. Yes, the summer holiday I enjoyed most is this year's.
At the very beginning of the holiday, our head teacher instructed us to make the most of the summer coming up, and then turn ourselves into bookworms. I took heart on hearing it, and at once mapped out a long list of hundreds of tasks I was going to perform. I was even in higher spirits in the first days of the summer, dreaming that I stuck to the whole schedule and became a super girl the next semester. But my ambition didn't stand the test of time. It was only a few days later that my attention was continually attracted by the Internet, novels, and shopping malls. Time flew surprisingly fast. When the vacation was already over, I realized in astonishment and despair that I had acted on only a half of my plan.
However, I am now consoling myself with the thought that it is human nature to have a rest after a long term's study; hence it is not realistic to keep working hard, even though the horrible Senior 3 was just around the corner. Therefore, I am satisfied. I am satisfied with my daily routine in which I spent an average 9 hours in sleeping, 2 hours in eating, 2 hours in surfing the Internet, 6 hours in doing some trivial things which I couldn't even remember, and the other 5 hours in studying. After all, I have done my possible. What is more, I did have a precious pause between the intense school days, and seized the last chance to relax in my senior life. So, this was a holiday combined with rest and work, wasn't it?

一、目前初中英语假期作业普遍存在的问题
英语学习是一个强化记忆、反复操练的过程,教师常常为了避免学生的知识随着时间推移而淡化,会布置大量统一的假期作业,问题主要表现在以下几个方面:
1.题目的机械堆积,缺乏针对性。巩固所学知识是大多数教师对作业布置目的达成的共识,多数教师更倾向于传统的作业模式,在数量上完成一本或两本练习册或假期作业,在内容上也是记背练为主,如本学期所学的单词、课文背诵。由于教师对每道题不能做到甄选,所以内容缺乏层次性和针对性,埋没了学生的个性差异,导致作业量大而质不高,学生在假期完成的科作业也是疲于应对。
2.单一的评价方式,缺少互动性。在作业评价方式上往往也过于单一,教师的评价处于中心地位,主要以批阅为主。作业是对所学知识的延伸和反馈,假期作业量大但课堂时间有限,教师不能对作业内容进行充分解读,作业中出现的问题也容易被搁置,总体上评价并不能对教学起到辅助和优化。没有教师的严格评价,后进生在完成假期作业时便容易松懈,在学生的学习态度上也不能起到积极作用。
二、关于假期作业多样化的实践
假期学生有足够的时间去构思创新,所以教师应该引导学生充分发挥创造力和创新力,而不是仅仅拘泥于课本知识。多样的形式不仅可以让学生在枯燥的作业中增加新鲜感,而且学生也能凭借兴趣更加认真对待。
1.书面作业与非书面作业相结合。英语语言学习是多方面语言输入和输出的熟练过程,所以在作业布置中还应兼顾到其他方面的语言应用能力的提高。
(1)语音录制作业。学生选择自己喜欢的文章或语音材料,经过充分地练习或模仿把自己认为最满意的一次录下来发到老师的电子邮箱中。老师通过语音、语调、朗读意境、文章内容等多角度进行筛选,开学时播放给大家,让同学猜猜谁是朗读者。把每学期的语音材料累积起来,对比之后评选出进步最大的同学予以表扬,同时,这也是记录学生成长过程的宝贵的音频资料。
(2)表演型作业。合作学习可以相互促进,几个同学在一起发挥想象原创或根据已有材料改编剧本,在团队中自行组织分工来共同完成英文短剧的排练,假期期间同学之间也不会因疏于沟通而疏远。如果有特殊原因不方便找合作伙伴,可以有单人表演项目。
(3)多媒体展示型作业。学生拟定所要谈论的话题,搜集各个方面的资料制作PPT。年级越高学生涉猎的趣味话题范围越广,对他们的语言要求也随之提高,比如从初一family,hobby等话题会逐渐扩展到初三初四的western festivals,marriage,traditions等话题。此项作业可采取单人或合作形式,较为新颖的话题可以开学与同学共享。
2.传统作业与创新作业相结合。创新型作业也属实践作业,是学生利用课外时间,调用已有的生活经验通过感知、体验、实践、参与、合作等方式来完成的一种动手操作的作业,它更具开放性也更能体现学生的创造力。
(1)阅读拓展型作业。对多数的低年级学生来说英文读物是比较无味的,针对该问题,教师可以给学生布置既读又动手的任务型作业,比如读一本自己喜爱的英文读物,选出自己喜欢的一句或一段话,结合自己的感想发挥想象自制阅读书签,学期伊始举办书签展览,同学间可以通过丰富的书签分享交流彼此的阅读感受。
(2)改编设计型作业。改编作业就是学生对已获取的知识信息进行知识创新和提升的一种作业。目前各种版本教材内容大多具有时代性、符合青少年心理,句型操练与篇章材料很贴近他们的生活实践,这就为学生进一步拓展学习提供了便捷资源,学生可以根据某篇课文发挥自己想象改编课本剧或就某一话题设计绘制一份英文报纸。
三、 评价与反馈
对假期作业进行科学、全面的评价,能起到激励作用,作业的评价重在帮助学生发现发展潜能、认识自我、展示自我,促进学生素质的整体发展。通过终结性评价和形成性评价有机结合的方式,开学伊始进行假期验收,以测试的形式客观地检验学生在假期知识巩固的情况,再根据作业内容的不同,分别以展览、表演、展示等形式展开,给学生以很好的展示平台来收获成就感。
四、实践中的思考
在教学实践中,学生可以根据自己的兴趣选择完成。通过尝试合理、多样化的假期作业不仅增加了学生学习英语的兴趣,而且还在充分扩展了语言学习方面的空间,甚至达到课堂之外的高层次学习。学生在完成作业的过程中学会了思考、与他人合作,并养成了按时完成作业的好习惯。

一、40%的高中词汇在高一学习
高考词汇要求3500个左右，这其中有超过1400多单词的学习在高一完成。词汇是英语学习的基础。在这1400多个词当中，超过一半以上是高考的重点词汇，因此要想在未来的高考中制胜，从进入高二开始就要抓紧词汇的积累，而且对单词的理解不能仅仅停留在字面意思上，还要深入了解其拓展含义和用法，为日后的英语学习打好基础。高二词汇量将进一步加大，如果高一词汇学习都成问题，高二英语将会越学越难。
二、45%的高考语法要在高一学完
高一语法已经完成了时态、非谓语、定语从句、状语从句、情态动词、强调句、构词法等语法学习。这些语法都是考试题中的重点和热点，高二将基本学完高中阶段所有的语法，如倒装、虚拟、名词性从句等并对其进行巩固和完善。
三、30万词左右的课内外阅读量要在高一完成
高一学生英语学习的另一个大任务就是要进行大量阅读。
阅读理解在进入高二后难度加大，对学生的要求将不止停留在读懂的层面上，而是提出了新的要求，要求学生具备快速阅读，获取关键信息，推理分析的能力，这些都是对学生能力要求的进一步拔高。高一阅读没有达标，高二阅读就会难上加难。提高阅读水平，阅读水平的高低又会直接或间接地影响到英语学习的其他方面。暑假英语的复习，阅读理解必将是一个重头戏。
四、听力训练停留在初中与高中的衔接阶段
考虑到高一学生刚从初中进入高中，很多学校高一并没有按照高考形式及难度进行听力训练。题型都是结合初中和高中特点适当调整，甚至，还停留在课本的听力训练上，到了高二听力应该和高考难度及题型基本保持一致。
综合以上谈到的各点，我们可以看到，暑假英语的学习任重而道远。那么，我们应该怎样应做好高一暑假英语复习，使自己的英语水平更上一层楼呢？
一、做好周密计划并坚持不懈地执行
可把假期分成前后两部分。前半部分为复习高一知识，后半部分预习高二阶段的英语知识。然后再对每天时间进行合理分解，比如早上为记忆单词、背诵朗诵及听力训练的时间，中午和下午做英语语法及阅读训练。同时要规定好英语复习量的多少。比如，一天记忆多少单词、几天之内写一篇作文、一天做几篇阅读或完形、一天训练听力时间为多长等。同时，安排好其他科目的复习及外出和玩耍的时间，不能只学习英语或只知道学习，不然就会All work and no play makes Jack a dull boy.
做好了计划，就要坚持不懈地贯彻下去，不能三天打鱼两天晒网，这样做没有任何效果还浪费了宝贵的时间。
二、复习旧知识、预习新内容
在第一复習阶段要复习高一所学过的所有词汇、语法等知识，做到温故而知新。复习完后要做一定的巩固练习。如果高一英语还留有疑问或一知半解之处，一定要抓紧时间恶补，这些--漏洞若是不补，越往后学，漏洞就越大，到最后就会发展到不可收拾的局面。另一方面，同学们在升入高二之前也可以提前预习高二的知识，做到胸有成竹，从高二的词汇到语法都要系统地预习@。
三、养成英强课外阅读的习惯并加强阅读训练
阅读是高考当中的重头戏，所谓“得阅读分者，得天下”。如果只局限在平时课文内容的阅读，语感是很难培养出来的。要培养语感，就需要走出课堂，阅读各种各样的、自己感兴趣的英语文章。这样，不仅能提高自己学习英语的兴趣，而且日积月累，可以学到很多新的单词、语法、句子和地道表达，语感也就慢慢地培养出来了，一举多得，何乐而不为呢？但课外阅读是一个积累的过程，需要的是恒心和毅力，其成效也只能在一定积累后才能显现出来，只要坚持，必能所获颇丰。阅读材料可根据自己的实际情况决定。在阅读时，一定要给自己规定时间，在多长时间以内做完一篇阅读，长期坚持这样要求自己，阅读速度便能得到提升。
四、加强听力训练
每天安排至少半小时听力训练，可以听课本磁带为主，也可适当听一些课外听力材料，如《新概念英语》（第二册）、《疯狂英语》以及英语经典歌曲、电影等。泛听是一种行之有效的训练听力的方法。泛听不是“随便听”，也要聚精会神，不宜一边走路一边听、一边吃饭一边听，注意力不集中，就不能对输入的语音信号做出积极反应。泛听不能“听懂一点算一点”。泛听训练的是听大意、听观点的能力。泛听材料的难度要适当，不可一味求难。泛听训练中，多接触不同的听力材料，熟悉各种语境，培养感知能力。精听的方式：边听边记要点；核对原文；重放录音材料。
五、熟悉高考题型、掌握破题技巧
在高一，由于受知识面影响，考试题型很多和高考脱节，到了高二，就进入高考模式，因此，熟悉高考题型并找到突破口尤为重要，比如完形、阅读、写作等题型，应该适当看一些题型突破的辅助书，这样在进入高二才能很快适应。

非常感谢校长给我这么好一个机会，首先是团队的进步推动公司的成长，再者是自己经验的提升．
转眼间自己也从学生的角色变成了老师的角色。一直都是学生的角色，因此习惯了听别人讲。当有一天突然要完成从学生到老师的角色转换，从听别人讲，到让别人听讲，看似简单的过程，却有着很多看不到的艰辛摸不着的微妙。做学生的时候，总觉得讲课就那么一回事儿，一点压力也没有，想听就听，不听就趴着睡觉．而现在，作为一名年轻的新教师，一切都是一个新的起点．
一堂课说长也长，说短也短，４５分钟．简单的来说就是从备课，讲课，到下课．然而对于我来说，要真正的落实下去，却像热锅上的蚂蚁团团转．刚开始的一周是备课周，一点经验都没有的我在安排里面是请教其他老师，观看其他老师的课程，从中吸取经验，了解上课的程序，以及吸取其中的优点，发现不足的地方记在笔记里面加以改正．另外，还有校长的细心指导，似乎一切都在为下一周的课程做准备．
一切比想象中的困难多了．第二周自己终于有了属于自己的学生，据了解才知道这些学生的基础都不是很好，作为一个英语补习老师，我决定从英语音标开始教起．但是才发现，英语是中国人的第二语言，发音根本没有像把英语作为母语的国家的人那么标准．而且，学生对于音标没有一点点概念，学校的教育仅仅如此．我们都知道音标是学好英语的基础，所以我非常注重音标的教学，然后才开始从课文抓起．
适合学生的才是最好的．在慢慢积累教学经验之后，自己对于如何教好学生也有了一些体会，一些想法．一堂课最重要的不是自己能给学生讲什么，而是学生能从你的这堂课学到什么．学校的教学往往限制在教室里面，而事实上一堂好的课程可以突破局限，以能让学生真正学到东西为中心，突破一些陈规旧俗．
一个活动，更能体现一个团队的力量．在暑假期间，我们举办了多次的晚会竞赛活动等．从活动的策划，到活动的准备，到活动开始，过程中，乃至活动结束后的安排都是一门学问．每个部分的配合才能够把活动展现得最完美，给学生观众留下深刻的印象．
