然而，27岁的澳大利亚青年尼克·胡哲（Nick·Vujicic）从一出生起，就没有四肢。用他自己的话说，他只有一个“小鸡腿”（左脚掌及相连的两个小脚趾）。
一个曾经让父母担忧的“怪胎”，如今，取得的成绩令大多数健全人都望尘莫及。他取得了会计和金融企划的双学士学位，创立了一家公益组织并担任总裁，被评为“杰出澳洲青年”。如果说这些都还算不上什么，那么，尼克用他谑称为“小鸡腿”的双脚走遍了20余个国家，成功地成为了一名出色的演讲家，这不能不说是一个奇迹。
如今，尼克带着他的勇气和梦想来到中国，讲述“我和世界不一样”的心路历程。尼克告诉同龄人：“如果别人没有给你奇迹，你就去成为奇迹。”
尼克在中国的演讲
尼克被工作人员抱上讲台，他不安分地用“小鸡腿”在讲台上跳来跳去，向大家展示自己有多灵活。他一边嘟囔着，一边跳着退到桌子边缘。“往后退一点，再往后一点，嗯，再来一点！”就当大家担心他会摔下去时，他“站”直了身子，狡黠一笑：“哈，开个玩笑！”
“我最喜欢开玩笑了！”——仗着自己身材“迷你”，他曾让朋友把自己塞进飞机行李舱，去吓唬别的乘客。因为没有腿，他可以在汽车座椅上原地转圈，结果，邻车的司机透过车窗玻璃，只能看到他头部在360度旋转，惊得目瞪口呆。
他用他仅有两个脚趾的脚掌，灵巧地敲击着一个有着16个按键的敲鼓机，一段节奏感强烈的打击乐震撼了全场。“That'scool！（这真酷！）”他吹着口哨，神采飞扬，就像其他这个年纪的年轻人一样。“我喜欢我的小脚掌！”一边说，尼克一边调皮地用脚趾比划出“V”的姿势。
他自豪地放映了一段短片。短片中，他踢足球，打高尔夫，钓鱼，滑板，游泳，骑马，驾着快艇乘风破浪，几乎无所不能。他从跳板上一跃而下，然后故意潜到游泳池底，当周围人都在为他担心的时候，他从水里冒出头来，哈哈大笑。
在尼克看来，“这个世界总是爱用老套而世俗的观点来给人下定义，可事实往往并不是人们想象的那样。请记住，如果这个世界认为你不够好，别相信，就当它是一个谎言。”令尼克自豪的是，当他学会了用幽默和自信面对世界时，他发现，“人们的确忘掉了我没有双臂和双腿的事实，而将我当成了另一个普通人看待。”
“放弃”还是“站起来”
为了证明没有双臂和双腿，一个人同样也能站起来，尼克把自己重重地摔在桌上。他用头顶着桌面，在全场的掌声中，一点点艰难地拱起身体。终于，他成功了！他骄傲地环视着四周，感叹“没有什么不可以，只要有希望！”尼克从生活经历中领悟到，不放弃才是一切希望的源泉。
他以为他不会写字，结果，妈妈专门制作了一个塑料模型，套在脚趾上，用这个模型夹住笔来写字画画。现在，他每分钟能在电脑上打43个字母。他将牙刷夹在脖子和肩膀之间的肌肉里，然后来回移动嘴巴，创造了独特的刷牙法。
中国学生都熟悉爱迪生失败9999次，最终发明了灯泡的故事。尼克说，他也经常用爱迪生的故事鼓励自己，鼓励他人。他曾在美国一所中学遇到一个沮丧的男孩，当着他的面大哭起来。原来，男孩因为身体原因，无法成为一名飞行员。他觉得，自己的梦想破碎了，前路茫茫。尼克请他先别那么早下结论，“你可以放弃你这个梦想，但，转角处或许还藏着别的希望！”一年后，当尼克再见到男孩时，男孩又哭了起来，但这回，却是喜悦的眼泪。他告诉尼克，放弃飞行员的梦想，让他很伤心，无意间，他拿起吉他排解情绪，却一下子爱上了音乐。如今，他组建了乐队，体验到从未有过的快乐和满足。
Give up（放弃）还是Get up（站起来），这是每个人必须面临的选择。
畏惧比没有手脚更可怕
尼克没想到，自己有一天会环游世界。他的演讲“No Arms,No legs,No worries”（没有手臂，没有腿，没有烦恼），每到一处就激起一阵心灵震撼，并被制作成视频，风靡网络世界。
但起初，他的世界并不是这样。
这个开朗的小伙子，也曾有过沮丧的时刻。从小，他就受到来自周围人的嘲笑。尤其是当他长大，还需要父母抱着进洗手间的时候，那种尴尬和羞愧，几乎让人难以忍受。8岁时，他曾经想自杀，10岁时，他尝试自杀了3次，结果，都没有成功。
他渐渐成长，他越来越强烈地意识到，自己和世界不一样， 他开始思考：“我存在的价值在哪儿？”
父母的支持和鼓励，让他发现了自己。“不要去抱怨自己所没有的，要学会感谢自己所拥有的。”他说，第一次开始尝试玩足球时，他也曾以为自己只能用头去顶，但当足球向他疾速飞来的那一刻，他第一反应就是用“小鸡腿”去接球。虽然，他一个星期都只能跷着脚，用大腿根部走路。但是，这样的经历，让他发现自己没什么不可以。
“在别人看来，我什么都没有，但至少我还有大脑，而且我还很帅，不是吗？”
在学校里，他和别的孩子一起学习、运动、竞赛，还成了学校学生会主席。19岁时的一次公开演讲，让尼克明白今后的路该怎么走。台下，很多女孩听了他的故事开始抽泣，一个女孩哽咽着拥抱了他，在他的耳边说谢谢。那一刻，尼克忽然觉得，自己给别人带来了希望，这不正是自己的价值所在？回家后，他大声向父母宣布了自己的决定：“我要做一个演讲家！”
不料，父母却给他泼了“冷水”。妈妈问他：“你讲给谁听？”“不知道……”
“你讲什么？”“不知道……”
“谁为你支付路费？”“不知道……”
但是，带着一连串的“不知道”，尼克坚定地踏出了第一步。
他相信，畏惧比没有手脚更可怕。几年后，当一个和自己有同样残疾的小男孩来到讲台上，告诉尼克，自己也像他那样学会了游泳时，尼克兴奋极了。
说起自己的残疾时，尼克说：“生命中有些东西是我们不能控制和改变的，你要相信自己的判断，而不是别人对你的判断。”
如何接受自己身体残疾的事实？尼克认为：“你可以跌倒，但你不可以成为一个失败者。与其抱怨没有人和你做朋友，不如去找朋友；与其抱怨没有奇迹发生在你身上，不如去创造奇迹。当你相信没有希望的时候，只是因为你没有看到希望。但不因为你看不见，希望就不存在。”
给你一个没有双臂的拥抱
“我不能和别人握手，但是，我可以给你一个大大的拥抱。”尼克喜欢前倾着身子，表达他对朋友和世界的热情。
听众中，站起一个女孩，流着泪告诉尼克，自己要把从他的演讲中获得的力量，带给妈妈，帮助妈妈战胜病痛。尼克请她上台，将一个特殊的拥抱，送给了女孩。
有台下学生问尼克，什么是支撑他最大的力量。尼克毫不犹豫地说：“家庭。”“如果你有一个家庭，不停在撒下爱的种子，你怎么可能愿意离开你的家人，把痛苦留给那些爱你的人？”尼克感叹。
在尼克眼中，父母最让他感动之处在于，他们始终是他最好的听众，听他诉说一切烦恼和快乐，从不厌烦。
从他6岁起，爸爸教他如何用脚趾往电脑里输入文字，教他游泳，并鼓励他学习踢足球、玩滑板。妈妈告诉他，在任何环境下都要微笑，告诉他，“别人再盯着你看，你可以主动去和别人搭话，以友好的姿态来面对这个世界，那样世界也会对你友好”。“我爱我的父母，比爱我自己更多。我不愿意把痛苦留给他们。”这份对爱的回馈和感恩，让他不轻言放弃。
尼克透露，他的第一本书即将出版，第一部电影“Butterfly Circus”也即将上映。他还建立了一个非营利组织。中国之行，他特意去了四川，给经历过地震灾难的孩子们演讲。他们中有的人，在灾难中失去了手脚，尼克希望用自己的故事给他们前行的力量。
他创办了网站“没有四肢的生活”（www.lifewithoutlimbs.org），他号召全球各地受到他鼓励的年轻人行动起来，汇集大家的力量帮助全球更贫穷的孩子们。做一个爱的传递者，是尼克的梦想。

3.“人生的遭遇难以控制，有些事情不是你的错，也不是你可以阻止的。你能选择的不是放弃，而是继续努力争取更好的生活。”
4.“你不能放弃梦想，但是可以改变方向，因为你不知道在人生的拐角处会遇到什么。”
5.“即使是我生命中最糟糕的事情，对于别人依然有着非凡的意义。”

认真听完力克的所有演讲视频，我几乎忘记了他是一个没有四肢的人，他积极，阳光，幽默，开朗的样子，是那么伟岸！我都不相信那也算残疾？！小时候力克认为自己没有手，不可能牵住妻子，现在他说，他能够牵住她的心；曾经他以为自己没有手，不能够给人拥抱，可是现在他成了“拥抱的机器”，每次演讲后都有那么多的人排队等待他的拥抱，许多人还在他的肩上动情地哭泣。那一刻，力克帅极了！力克喜欢在演讲中表演一些小玩意，逗大家开心，然后说，我酷吧。是的，力克很酷！那是一种发自内心的帅与酷。
力克用他的弱小的身躯，惊人的毅力，坚定地告诉我们：人类最恶劣的残障，不是没有肢体，而是没有盼望的人生。心理的残障才是真正的残障。生命中有些东西是不能控制和改变的，唯有改变自己的心态，热爱生命，奇迹就会发生。
生命是很有趣的，每个人从一生下来，就是独一无二的，原本的自己最美，外表瘦一点，胖一点，高一点，矮一点都不重要，重要的是我们钻石一样宝贵的心。人生的旅程困难重重，我们仍然要感恩，感恩我们拥有健全的身体，即使没有健全的身体，我们依然要感恩，感恩我们拥有一颗火热的心。学会感恩也许很难，但不尝试又怎会成功？
活着的最大价值是被爱，生存的最大目标是去爱。热爱生命，热爱鼓励别人，生活会变得很精彩。关于鼓励，力克给我们讲述了一个发生在他身上的小故事，上小学时，每天都会有很多人嘲笑或捉弄力克，这天又有12位同学嘲笑他，力克暗想，如果再有一位同学嘲笑，他就要放弃了，不再上学。放学时，一个女同学走过来，说：“嗨，力克！”力克以为预料中的事情果然要发生了，正难过，小女孩说：“力克，你今天挺好的。”力克笑了，他再也不愿放弃。
鼓励是有能力的，有时候甚至能拯救一个人，力克去各国各界演讲，就是想用他的事例鼓励大家，难道这样的人生还不够有意义吗？反思我们当今社会的一些四肢健全的人，他们几乎以谩骂和打击别人作为宣泄，网络上这种现象更是比比皆是。据新华网报道，一位上海媳妇因为对公婆不满，在多家网站发帖，恶语攻击，招来诸多网友对公婆的一片谩骂。最终这位媳妇被告上法庭。试想这样的人是健全的吗？哪怕他的四肢再强壮，他的内心也是阴暗，残障的。
生命里，有许多东西我们不明白，有时哪怕再努力也会被嘲笑或谩骂。力克以他痛苦的历程告诉我们，当别人嘲笑我们时，我们不必理会，反而更要爱自己，我们去寻找真正的朋友。真正的朋友会接纳我们，不管我们长得怎么样。是啊，人生不会常常顺利，也不会时时灿烂，态度就是高度。跌倒了我们再站起来，失败了我们再尝试。只要不放弃，人生就有盼望，只要勇往直前，胜利就在前方。力克没有四肢，尚且能够凭借强大的理想和信念创造奇迹，我们四肢健全，又有什么困难可以阻挡？加油吧，所有徘徊在困境中的人们！____________________________________________________
当我第一次看到这个视频，对我触动非常非常的大。人也许碰到困境，都会用两个态度去面对！一面是积极，当然另一面是消极。我们碰到无数困难，也会碰到无数选择，也会碰到无数挑战。看看力克，我们才知道，上天给了我们太多太多的“财富”了！只是我们自己没有把握好。

今天回想，力克深觉生命里最大的障碍并非来自环境，甚么毒奶粉、毒债券、金融海啸、天灾人祸，乃至看不清的未来，都不是最可怕的，最可怕的莫过于来自内心的恐惧！想通了这点，力克认定自己的残疾乃「上天的礼物」，当中必有上帝美好的旨意，于是奋发回转，以积极的态度来面对人生，并努力不懈地学习运用「小鼓槌」及颈部肌肉，练成了自己穿衣服、吃饭、打字、游泳、骑马、钓鱼、开快艇，甚至打鼓„„幽默的他，甚至能藉嘲笑自己的缺陷以激励别人，给无数绝望、甚至打算自杀的人带来了希望。19岁时，一位讲员到他学校演讲，令他深受感动，于是他也开始学习演讲，终于自己也成为一位激励别人、足迹遍及全球24个国家的讲员，演讲对象包括政府官员、总统、名人等，与超过240万人交流心得，并透过电视、报纸、杂志与超过六亿人沟通。他不再向上帝求手、求脚，他明白了：上帝要藉他来激励别人，为万人带来福祉。

2) 选择就会被选择，拥有就会被拥有，而给予同样会被给予。因此我们不免要问：活着还有什么意义?——活着就是做有意义的事。而做有意义的事就是活着。
3) “让世界动起来之前，先让自己动起来。”如果你抓不到好运气，就自己创造一个。当你被巨大的损失或悲剧击倒时，给自己一段悲伤的时间，然后采取行动，从坏事中创造出好事来。

5) 就算失败了，我会一次又一次的尝试。因为决定放弃的那一刻，我才是真正的失败。

尼克胡哲观后感!有的时候，你可能会摔倒，但是你可以站起来，如果前面有一个石头，你可以想办法过去。这和人生一样，在人生中，跌倒了，你可以站起来。如果有一件事让你认为没有办法完成，你可以勇敢的试一试。尼克·胡哲曾经说过：“你一次只能走一步，不可能一次走两步。”但是你认为完不成的事情尼克·胡哲却能完成。尼克·胡哲生来就没有四肢，只有一个小小的脚。尼克·胡哲称它为“小鸡腿”，尼克·胡哲还说他家的狗狗以为这是个鸡腿，咬了一口，结果得到了的是尼克·胡哲的一顿揍。
尼克·胡哲还喜欢开玩笑，因为尼克·胡哲经常站在桌子边上，半个“小鸡腿”在外边，大家都快吓死了，可是尼克·胡哲却说：“哗”大家都心都系在了悬崖上，没想到的是，尼克·胡哲使劲往前跳，还解释说这是个玩笑。
尼克·胡哲虽然没有四肢，但是尼克·胡哲却保存了乐观，还做了平常人做不到事情，我们与尼克·胡哲相比，我们是不是也应该对自己保存乐观，对自己自信呢？
在第一次团校课中老师组织我们看到了他的演讲——尼克?胡哲，一个“传奇”的人物，他是一个残疾人，他生下来就没有四肢，但他却活得坚强乐观。他坚强，勇敢地面对人生中的困难，不气馁，不因为几次失败而轻言放弃。
“人要坚定自己的信念，勇敢地面对挫折，把挫折当作一笔宝贵的财富。”一个人在前进的路中跌倒了没关系，跌倒了十次也没关系，就算你跌倒了几百次，甚至几千次，只要你从那里跌倒就从那里爬起来，要有不轻言放弃的勇气和坚定的信念，那么不管你失败多少次，你总会有成功的一天!我们的生活也是如此，随着年龄的不断增大，我们肩上的责任和希望就越来越重，我们应该扛起奋斗的大旗，喊着努力的口号，行动起来，即使在前方有无数个挫折与困难，我们都要勇敢的前行。我们便一定会取得最后的胜利，而那些不坚持，不努力的人，最终将会失败，一生碌碌无为。因此，挫折并不可怕，怕的是你没有坚定的信念，怕的是你没有十分的努力，怕的是没有克服挫折的勇气。
我相信，若拥有了毅力，自信，乐观就能创造奇迹。我也相信只要对生活充满希望，永不放弃，爱自己，爱他人，每个人都是最独特最美的!

I have a wheel chair over there.
It’s my BMW 7 series.
I am gonna take it to “pick my ride”(好像是电视节目) and get some spinning rings on it.
and the.
.
You know those full-picked cars you know with hydraulic stuff, you know how they’re downs and around stuff.
I wanna give my wheel chair down stuff.
(1:55)(这一段他真的很乐观)。
why? If I can cross the road and go bang bang bang! (他的动作也很搞笑 下面的学生也都笑了)。
It’s really cool to drive that thing around that I have no arms and no legs and I was actually born in this way.
And There is no medical reason why these happen.
So I have no limbs, but I have a little chicken drumstick.
And we call this chicken drumstick, because first of all it looks like one and second of all sometimes my dog thinks it’s one.
And I tell you man so funny it comes up to start biting on that.
I push(象声词，很幽默) him in the head a couple of times.
It’s nuts ,man.
(底下的学生又笑了，看来他真的可以和孩子打成一片)。
It’s so cool man.
I love to swim as well and I actually float like a life jacket.
I float up right like this and I have my little motor down here,and I go ‘bow-’this right.
And it’s so funny when people see me for the first time.
It’s so cool you’re kids freaked out you know how to say? I tell you this little boy came up to me and he goes “what happened?”(呵呵 语调很搞怪 真的很开朗) and I went up to him, and I goes:” cigarettes!”.
(在逗小孩玩的时候还不忘进行‘吸烟有害健康的教育‘) and there was one girl who saw me and she goes “mummy! Look, it’s an alien!” (学惊慌失措的女生学的很像，呵呵，很有表演天赋)So I went up to her and I went:” ah~~” she is like ah~~.
I ran after her and said:” I am gonna eat you!”(哈哈，他奔跑的动作很搞笑) You know，Freak her out! So with my little foot here, I can also write.
This is my pen here.
I can actually write and type with my foot but I learn how to draw and all this a lot things.
That’s pretty cool.
I learn how to type 43 words in a minute on the normal computer.
So it’s like heeling-toe heeling-toe combination and I am learning sign language with my foot I ‘mma learn it ready? Peace(为什么我会想到piss，呵呵).
Is that cool? Very cool.
Anyway, we gonna have some fun today.
And I just gonna tell you the funny story of all.
It’s so funny.
I was in a car one day.
When you see me from the outside of the car, you have no idea that I have no arms and no legs right? You just see my gorgeous face.
(呵呵其实他长的算是帅的) when the traffic lights one day, and this car comes up next to us.
And this girl looked at me and I am like:” cool! Let’s have some fun here.
” I know that she has no clue that I have no limbs so I looked at her, I grabbed the seat belt in my mouth and loose it like this and did it in the car seat, I just did this (亏他想的出来这种招数，佩服!拥有童心。
呵呵) and she was like ，she was like“you freak me out man!” It’s very cool.
Anyway, I have a couple of things to show you.

I have a wheel chair over there.
It’s my BMW 7 series.
I am gonna take it to “pick my ride”(好像是电视节目) and get some spinning rings on it.

You know those full-picked cars you know with hydraulic stuff, you know how they’re downs and around stuff.
I wanna give my wheel chair down stuff.

why? If I can cross the road and go bang bang bang! (他的动作也很搞笑 下面的学生也都笑了)。
It’s really cool to drive that thing around that I have no arms and no legs and I was actually born in this way.
And There is no medical reason why these happen.
So I have no limbs, but I have a little chicken drumstick.
And we call this chicken drumstick, because first of all it looks like one and second of all sometimes my dog thinks it’s one.
And I tell you man so funny it comes up to start biting on that.
I push(象声词，很幽默) him in the head a couple of times.
It’s nuts ,man.

It’s so cool man.
I love to swim as well and I actually float like a life jacket.
I float up right like this and I have my little motor down here,and I go ‘bow-’this right.
And it’s so funny when people see me for the first time.
It’s so cool you’re kids freaked out you know how to say? I tell you this little boy came up to me and he goes “what happened?”(呵呵 语调很搞怪 真的很开朗) and I went up to him, and I goes:” cigarettes!”.
(在逗小孩玩的时候还不忘进行‘吸烟有害健康的教育‘) and there was one girl who saw me and she goes “mummy! Look, it’s an alien!” (学惊慌失措的女生学的很像，呵呵，很有表演天赋)So I went up to her and I went:” ah~~” she is like ah~~.
I ran after her and said:” I am gonna eat you!”(哈哈，他奔跑的动作很搞笑) You know，Freak her out! So with my little foot here, I can also write.
This is my pen here.
I can actually write and type with my foot but I learn how to draw and all this a lot things.
That’s pretty cool.
I learn how to type 43 words in a minute on the normal computer.
So it’s like heeling-toe heeling-toe combination and I am learning sign language with my foot I ‘mma learn it ready? Peace(为什么我会想到piss，呵呵).
Is that cool? Very cool.
Anyway, we gonna have some fun today.
And I just gonna tell you the funny story of all.
It’s so funny.
I was in a car one day.
When you see me from the outside of the car, you have no idea that I have no arms and no legs right? You just see my gorgeous face.
(呵呵其实他长的算是帅的) when the traffic lights one day, and this car comes up next to us.
And this girl looked at me and I am like:” cool! Let’s have some fun here.
” I know that she has no clue that I have no limbs so I looked at her, I grabbed the seat belt in my mouth and loose it like this and did it in the car seat, I just did this (亏他想的出来这种招数，佩服!拥有童心。
呵呵) and she was like ，she was like“you freak me out man!” It’s very cool.

”多谢，多谢各位，各位早晨，早晨，大家好吗?大家都好吗?我名叫力克胡哲，很高兴和大家见面，我的轮椅就在那边，它是我的宝马BMW7系列，我打算带它参加,旧车翻新节目,把车轮换成自转的,大家知道有些翻新车,换上了油压升降系统吗?知道他们行走时会弹跳吗?我想把我的轮椅做到同样效果,在过马路时弹跳起来发出怦怦响声,能够这样做,真酷!“
”我是生来没有手和脚的,在医学上也找不出原因,我没有四肢,但我有这“小鸡腿”,称它为“小鸡腿”,因为它真的很像,另外,我家的狗也以为它是鸡腿,告诉大家有趣的事,我的狗会走过来,吃我的“小鸡腿”,我就在它头上打了好几趟,真疯狂!真酷,我喜爱游泳,我可以像救生衣一样浮起来,也可以垂直浮着,我的“小鸡腿”是马达,让我全速开动前进(学发动机的嗡嗡声).

“我有几样东西给大家看，我会打鼓，大家相信吗?我真的会打鼓，我把鼓棍放在我的嘴里，不，说笑的!其实我有一件打鼓器(用小脚在打鼓器上打鼓)，这是什么?它是一块有16个按钮的垫，每个按钮代表一种响声，知道吗?所以我不只是在按播放，那么简单，看到我的脚掌吗?这是认真的(脚掌打击按钮)，啊，(打了一段鼓点)大家喜欢吗?(台下一片掌声)这像你们喜欢的摇滚或流行音乐，还有这个声音，呀呀。
