电影《狮子王》讲的是狮子王辛巴从出生到成为父亲的故事。辛巴出生以后，他当国王的爸爸被他的叔叔杀害了，辛巴历经千辛万苦一个人逃到丛林，跟着一只猫鼬和豪猪快乐地生活并渐渐长大。
一天，他和他的伙伴正在散步，那只豪猪正在被一只母狮追赶，豪猪一下子逃到了辛巴的身边，于是辛巴和母狮打了起来，母狮用前腿很快压住了辛巴的胸部，辛巴认出这只母狮就是小时候的好伙伴娜娜。当娜娜离开后，辛巴遇到了一只狒狒，它就是荣誉国的国君，辛巴跟着他回到了荣誉国。当娜娜到达荣誉国的时候，辛巴已在那里等候了。猫鼬和豪猪把土狼引开，辛巴和娜娜一起到了国王站的石头背后，当国王把辛巴的妈妈打倒在地上的时候，辛巴勇敢地站了出来，他把妈妈扶起之后和叔叔打了起来，当它们到了悬崖时彼此想着怎样把对方推到悬崖下。最后辛巴一脚把叔叔推了下去，叔叔被土狼吃掉了。故事的结尾是，辛巴和娜娜幸福地生活在一起，辛巴成为了荣誉国的国王。
今天看的是《狮子王》，小狮子辛巴生活在快乐的家庭里，爸爸是首领，辛巴处处有大人的保护，可是辛巴的叔叔因为妒忌自已的哥哥，处处在暗地里挑事，可是几次都被狮子王哥哥看破，及时地救了小辛巴。
这天，辛巴的叔叔又一次想害自已的哥哥，就告诉了辛巴一个地方，这个地方是辛巴的爸爸绝对不允许辛巴去的地方，可是辛巴出于好奇，背着父母去了这个危险的地方，狮子王爸爸接到了通知，赶紧去救自己的儿子，辛巴得救了，可是爸爸却遭到坏叔叔的陷害，失去了生命，辛巴听了坏叔叔的话，离开了家。
辛巴的叔叔如愿以偿地坐上了王位，时间好快，小狮子辛巴长大了，变成了爸爸以前的样子。
后来，辛巴小时候的朋友，找到了辛巴，说服了辛巴，在大家的努力下，辛巴变得勇敢，坚强，打败了叔叔，夺回了王位让家人们又过上了幸福的生活。

狮子王讲的是小狮子王辛巴成长的故事。电影从太阳缓缓上升，小辛巴诞生拉开序幕，他的出生给大家带来了欢乐，尤其是他父亲狮子王—木法沙，最为高兴，因为它不仅是拥有了一个儿子，而且它们的王国有了一个继承人。幸福总是短暂的，因为狮子王木法沙的兄弟刀疤想要篡夺皇位。刀疤把小辛巴带进了马谷，马群惊乱，木法沙为了救他的儿子，以身犯险，冲进马群，救回了他的儿子，他却被早有预谋的刀疤趁乱杀害了，刀疤成功篡位，当上了国王，而小辛巴离开了这个王国。在新的生活里，他认识了新的朋友彭彭和丁克，过的十分逍遥自在。慢慢的，它长大了，儿时的伙伴娜娜找到了他，请他回去拯救大家，辛巴因为他父亲的事，不愿回去，最后一只猴子成功的劝说了他。他决定回去和刀疤决战，最后他战胜了刀疤成为了真正的国王。
